4th of July Rail road visit

Beautiful, charming house. Spacious and clean. Nice views and a fire pit for waching fireworks down the line ! Very well provisioned and equipped for the family.

loved being close to train tracks

loved the house and location close to my family for our yearly reunion. the stairs were a little tough for us old people, that was the only small disadvantage, but still loved and enjoyed the house, location. thanks for making it available, the little ones loved hearing and seeing the train go by so close

Lovely Stay Near EBT Railroad

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home during our visit to the EBT railroad. The host provided refreshments and breakfast items that made for easy mornings. Being able to see the train go by the house was a cool perk. The house is spotless and very well maintained. All in all a very nice stay and highly recommended!

Beautiful property!

We came to the area for the EBT train ride with Santa, but our time at the house ended up being a favorite part of the weekend! The house has scenic views, a unique layout, comfortable beds, and plenty of space. The owner was responsive and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great stay, even stocking the kitchen with breakfast items including fresh fruit, coffee, milk, and juice. Our family had a great time and was so impressed by this property!

Perfect stay for a family that loves trains!

We booked for a very quick overnight stay before a train excursion with our twin 8 year olds that LOVE trains. The property was spotless when we arrived, with plenty of supplies for a quick breakfast. The convenience to Orbisonia can’t be beat, and our boys thought it was cool we passed the house on our train ride. Wish we could have stayed another day, so they could watch the train pass by from the yard! One son is already saying “next year, when we stay at the red roof house ”❀

Best VRBO I’ve stayed in yet

This is a beautifully maintained and obviously loved property. We were immediately impressed from the moment we walked in the door. Everything was spotless and placed with care. We had one small issue with the internet that was promptly fixed by the owner. What a guy! This really set the bar for vacation rentals. Will be staying at again!

A great VRBO house and hosts who go the extra mile

This VRBO home is always a great experience because of the character of the house and its unique location adjacent to the tracks of the East Broad Top train. The hosts pay exacting attention to all aspects of their guests' stay and comfort. The home is immaculate and provisioned with a generous supply of staples. I recommend most highly if your are staying in this part of Huntingdon County.

Beautiful clean house. It's on a busy road that can get loud when you are outside. The little things: could use bedroom chairs, nightstands and lamps that can be turned out from the bed.

We’re cityfolk who came to the country and it was amazing. The train that came by a few times a day was so much fun. Not having to bring a thing except our clothes was a huge plus. The snacks and the coffee included was great. We had a great time. A few of our other family members stayed about seven minutes up the road and we all got together there for a wonderful family reunion, it was a great time. Thank you very much.

A great home to visit!

The house has great character and charm. We watched the East Broad Top Christmas train go by each night which added to the experience. The house is very clean and well appointed. The hosts made the entire stay a pleasure.

Amazing location and beautiful house

Maybe one of my favorite stays ever! The house itself is an absolute gem and well appointed, and being able to have a camp fire and watch the trains pass was just a wonderful experience. Planning to book again next year!

Fantastic location!

We came into town for an East Broad Top Railroad photo charter. This large beautiful home was well maintained, immaculate and had everything we needed! Excellent communication with the owner. Short 3 minute drive to the EBT station. We will definitely stay here again!

Trackside Treasure

I am a regular VRBO user and this property nears the top of the list for setup, cleanliness and basic stock of supplies. The hosts were gracious enough to ensure that we had the basics for breakfast and that worked great to start our day. Rooms were comfortable and bathrooms worked well. The proximity to the EBT mainline was a tremendous factor in our enjoyment of the house. We will definitely rent again.
