« Convenient location, close to Tsugaike and Iwatake where the property owner will drop you daily in the morning and pick up in the afternoon on request. The shuttle bus stop to the other resorts is a short walk from the accommodation. Alan is a good host and is very friendly and obliging. He picked us up on short request when we picked up our ski gear on the first day and dropped us off where we wanted to drop our ski gear on the last day. « Got to the place pretty late and was expecting to just ramen in myself but I was welcomed by Mike at the parking lot to pick my luggage to my room! Thankful to have Leo and Mike to cook BBQ for me! « The staff are friendly and ready to assist. The house is equipped with digital security system, has floor heating, and most importantly, it's clean with well-maintained appliances. I would highly recommend this place to friends and relatives visiting Nagano. »

« I really enjoyed my time at Dark Horse. The owner and staff are warm and welcoming, and helped out in many ways, both big and small. Breakfasts and dinners were good and the lounge/dining room was a comfortable place to relax after riding. It was great value for the money. I would recommend it, and would stay there again without hesitation. »

« 特式的glamping體驗，不用去荷蘭，也能體驗芬蘭浴。房間極寬敞，又有吊床。床有電毯，很暖和。洗手間和澡堂在另一橦小屋，走1分鐘便到。冬天晚上，外出上洗手間便是考驗意志的時候，但值得的。 »

« Lovely staff who genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. Very comfortable beds in basic but clean rooms. Great common area with nice amenities. We felt very at home. While the location is great for skiing - lift is right across the street, it was very hard to get into town, to grocery, etc. »
