  • Located in Stocksbridge, Unsliven Bridge Farm was previously an old farm house barn, on the edge of the stunning Peak District and only a short drive from Holmfirth, a picturesque and well-known market town. Unsliven Barn is perfect for any Celebration and Christmas break, this luxurious holiday cottage sleeps 7 guests in 3 beautiful bedrooms. It is next door to our own Unsliven Bridge Farm. The properties themselves are completely separate but share a very large private parking area. They can be booked together to sleep a total of 22 guests, if required.

Needed a local base for a project in Sheffield

Fabulous property, plenty of room for parking. All appliances and crockery/cookware that you might need. House and all bedding/towels spotlessly clean. Great location, many walks and pubs nearby. Special mention for the nearest pub Ye Olde Mustard Pot. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We will definitely be staying again.

Autumn break

This was our third stay at Unsliven Barn, we love the location, so many walks on the doorstep. The cottage has everything you need, the kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, the showers are refreshing, the decor and furnishings are lovely. Nothing is too much trouble for Nick & Lisa. For us it’s about getting away from the constant day to day pressures and totally relaxing. Can’t wait to come back again soon.

A great accommodation for meeting with friends

The accommodation was spotless and of a high standard. It has a large open plan living area downstairs and 3 comfortable bedrooms upstairs. The ability to make all beds into singles was a plus for us. The showers were excellent. We were all impressed with the location, on the edge of the town and within walking distance of the shops. A very enjoyable stay, thank you!

Outstanding

We are 3 sisters (and husbands) who try to book to take our children and their children away on a family break every year. We love family get togethers. We booked both properties at Unsliven and both were absolutely outstanding. Can’t think of a single thing they didn’t have. Spotlessly clean and spacious. We thought the photos were great but the properties were even better than they looked. Booked a different property with Yorkshire Premium Cottages last year as there was less of us and that was brilliant too- hence booking with them again. Honestly this property was just the best. Thank you

Bank holiday

Lovely week at the Barn, which is equipped to a very high standard. Just right for family walks with our two small dogs and three year old little girl. The field went down well with the older boys for a quick game of football. Loved sitting out looking over the stream in the early evening. Would highly recommend for a short break.

Half term break

Driving to Unsliven again gives me such a happy feeling. As a family we love this place, we’ve stayed in all the cottages but love Unsliven because of the stream running past. The cottages are all amazing, every detail thought about, from decor to furnishings to kitchen utensils. We had a lovely relaxing week away from the day to day rush of work & school. Our vizsla had a ball too, great walks on the doorstep .
