Good place except breakfast
Very good hotel for its cleanness, close to station. One drawback: breakfast is not really great, ( orange juice, viennoiseries are really bad)

I requested a room with a bath i was told mmy room had a bath amd when i checked in it was a walk in shower i took a minor fall but caused me a back injury so i checked out the hotel i also left a phone thwre amd the hotel hasnt even contacted me to return it

We stayed here cause it was close to the crucible theatre for our multiple sessions of snooker. The walk is easy lots of shops near by the bed was comfy but the pillows were too fluffy for me but im strange that way. Bathroom had a tub the room was clean. Breakfast was good had everything you need for a full English or just a nice light toast and coffee breakfast. We would stay again.

The good: room configuration of double and a fixed single, good housekeeping and useful location However, the noise on 6th floor from air con units on rooftop was awful, outdated bathrooms with poor fixings/plumbing and no extractor, breakfast offering was pretty poor and cold with quality of meat very offputting, staff seemed a tad morose apart from a friendly lady at breakfast.. Stayed 3 nights but wouldn't return

Ive been to this hotel twice now and i keep coming back because the service is amazing and the room is lovely every time, plus they validate your parking so it costs far less

Nice clean room. Location is very central. Some of the fittings in the bathroom were needing some repair (shower door would not close easily). Nice comfy bed.

Absolutely horrible. Don't kud yourself into staying here. It is beyond lousy. We had to leave it was so bad and they wouldn't refund our money. The toilet seat wasn't attached and there was black spit all over the bathroom walls. They gave us another room and it was just as bad or worse. What a waste of time and money. DO NOT STAY HERE OR YOU WILL SUFFER.

A perfectly nice hotel located in the heart of Sheffield, a short walk from the station and main attractions. Staff were very friendly and the room was modern and clean. Breakfast I would describe as cheap and cheerful, but acceptable for the price paid. The restaurant itself was a bit chilly (also a cold day outside) heating turned down to reduce costs? All in all a pleasant stay and I would use the hotel again if coming to Sheffield.

Would not stay again
Checked in online but still had to wait 20 mins at reception to pick up keys as others had not. Bed extraordinarily small for a double room and very bouncy mattress so poor sleep as not enough space to be comfortable and every move woke up the other person. Last occupants foundation smeared over the handle to the soap dispenser with apparently no attempt to clean. Breakfast choices varied but somehow nothing really tasted of anything, many plates left half full on other tables too. Not possible to have a decent shower on the 9th floor as the pressure was so bad the water stopped running when other guests flushed their toilet in nearby rooms and fluctuated in temparature from boiling hot to freezing cold throughout. Would not stay again.
