Wonderful
wonderful place to escape from monotonous city life. plan ahead and book a dance or batik making activities!. the swimming pool is a bit small, but they have an amphitheater to sit and laze and doze all afternoon.

Lovely setting of individual wooden chalets-charming and warm. I went to sleep with the sound of frogs serenading me, from the little ponds around. A lovely surprise when I found out that the price of my room included three meals a day! The only inconvenience is that it is in Sewon; a little ways away from Yogja town, so if you are thinking of just walking out of your room to explore Yogja town, you can forget it.

Tembi Rumah Budaya: A taste of Indonesian living
Absolutely loved our stay here. It was such an interesting place with live gamelan performances every night, a small art exhibition, stunning views over rice fields and delicious Indonesian meals 3 times a day. The only hiccup was when we first arrived, as the staff had no record of our booking, but managed to accommodate us anyway. They said Hotels.com had not notified them, which was worrying, though I guess we'll never know exactly what happened.
