Great stay for large groups

We stayed there with our extended family. The place was great to host multiple families and age ranges. The pool was a hit for the kids and it was close to pigeon forge. Some of our family got stuck leaving due to the snow and ice that gatlinburg got. The host was quick with communicating and let them stay until the ice thawed on the roads and they could leave safely. I’d definitely recommend having vehicles with four wheel drive if visiting during the winter time

Pleasant Stay

I love this property and the view was wonderful! The property manager was awesome and on top of it with all of our concerns. There were a few hiccups pertaining to the A/C & the parking is not very suitable. You’ll have to park on the side of the street otherwise there is a very steep slant. This caused a family members van to stall & he had to get a towing company to come out. Nonetheless, it was resolved
There was also a construction site across the street with trash and building materials. However, it did not affect any of the gorgeous mountain views at all
 The home was clean, cozy, & most of all, the management group went above & beyond!! Thank you!

Thunder Mountain

This property has potential- but I spent my week helping the next guest enjoy their stay, while I dealt with problems. House was nice with a nice view- space was good. Good location- away from the busy areas of town- Upon arrival neither the pool nor hot tub was usable (traveling with my family- that was a big problem) it took over 24 hours to rectify and fix- two separate service providers had to be brought in-The listing called out a gourmet kitchen- that it was not- it was a basic kitchen with minimal supply. I had to call again because there were only 3 forks- no hot pads or oven mitts, no mixing bowls, only 7 plates, no strainer, no grilling tools for the grill- it was very disappointing trying to make basic meals for our stay. After I would call, the items would be brought to the house, but it usually took at least 24 hours- which I understand, but it made the stay quite stressful when you are trying to make dinner for your family, and you don’t have the basic items you need. The property had no broom nor vacuum (that worked) leaving us with disgusting floors by the end of our week. The property was lacking basics for a simplified living experience. The listing was for a house that could sleep 14, and I am pretty sure that I was told by the property manager, that the house/listing had a new name- so this review will probably not even be linked to the property and give a true representation of our stay and problems. Would I go back to this property- no.
