仁川国際空港に21時過ぎに到着後、入国審査が長蛇の列で1時間半ほどかかり、電車でホテルへ。 待ち時間にエクスペディアのチャットから、遅れるけど部屋の確保をお願いしたいと送るも恐らく深夜のため返事はなく、不安たっぷりでホテルへ。 慌てていた上に英語もままならい私に、なんてことないという感じで笑顔で快く迎えてくださってホスピタリティにとても安心しました。 なお、お部屋にはスリッパはありません。用意していくのを忘れたので、すぐ隣(徒歩0分)のコンビニでビニールサンダルを購入しました。 また、浴槽付きのお部屋でしたが、シャワーカーテンがないので、気をつけても床の一部は水浸しになります。でも、シャワーの温度や水圧は十分でとても快適でした。疲れた体も癒せました。 施設としては、全体にとてもシックでおしゃれです。廊下に薬草のような独特の臭いがしていたのと(部屋は気になりませんでした)、机のカバーがボロボロだったこと、ツインベッドルームのひとつのかけ布団がしっとりして重かったこと、バスマットがほつれまくっていたこと、冷蔵庫の棚の扉が傾いていて金庫が開けにくかったこと、ハンガーとハンガーかけがほしかったこと、ポットの場所に鏡があるのに電灯がなくてもったいないなと思ったことなどから、施設の評価が低めです。贅沢を言ってごめんなさい。 駅から近く(構内は歩きます)、大型のスーパーやオリーブヤング、ひとり旅に心強いチェーン店も大通りで徒歩数分の位置にあり、コンビニも多い。 立地が最高で、ホスピタリティの良いホテルでした。 外国人旅行者は、英語ができたほうが良いかな、というのと、必要な人はスリッパの準備をすること、wowpassの機械が近隣ホテルに行かないとないことに気をつけると良いかもしれません。

WC malfunctioned twice during my 8-day stay. Long bath is only half enclosed, hence water is spilled onto toilet floor. Bar cabinet does not have a top light. Morning breakfast is disappointing, staff started to keep servings immediately when informing dining guests at 9:15am that closure time in 15 minutes (i.e. 9:30am). Generally, hotel staff English competency is very low - lower than Japanese and Taiwanese hotel staff.

I saw the reviews about the air conditioner and thought it might be different for me. The air conditioning system really needs an upgrade. It won't get any cooler than 25 to 26 C. It feels hot actually. Avoid this hotel at summer.

We loved our room on the 26th floor looking down towards the river. The only setback was that when arriving by train, having to carry heavy luggage up several flights of stairs at Gongdeok Station.

We loved staying here. It was close to good food, 7/11 was right next door, and it was only a short walk to the subway. It felt safe, clean, and quiet. This was my favorite stay during my whole trip!

新羅ステイはリピートですが、5階のどこかの部屋の水道がうるさいのを超えて不快な音が響き、深夜に部屋を交換していただきましたが、変えていただいた12階の部屋は、今度は下水の匂いが部屋まで充満し、不快極まりない一夜を過ごしました。目にしみるくらいの下水の匂いで、もうリピートはありません。

2月に宿泊。床暖房の調整がちょっとわかりづらかったですが、他は満足。価格は都度変わりますが、ツインで1泊1.5万円はかなりお得です。 バスタブ、ウォシュレット付き。チェックイン時は日本語で対応していただきました。
