« The air conditioning did not work while we were there. While I can understand that that this was unexpected, I did not appreciate the fact that there was no compensation that was offered, especially since the maintenance person said he was going to let the office know the situation so they could determine the appropriate compensation. »

« Pros: Cute and cozy for small group. Convenient location. Nice deck to sort and wash rocks. Cons: Cottage not cleaned from previous renter due to miscommunications on their end. But cleaner came and offered fee refund. Outdated furnishings and walk to beach longer than expected. »

« Our group of 14 had a wonderful stay here! Beds were great, kitchen is set up nicely for lots of cooking, plenty of seating. This house was one of the cleanest and most well stocked we have ever stayed in! We appreciated having a large blackstone to cook on and having a patio to spend evenings on around the fire. Our host was communicative and helpful. The area is stunning and we loved being close to the hiking/boating we wanted to do. Highly recommend! »

You can’t beat the location: we got to wake up to Lake Superior views, hear the waves crashing overnight, and could walk a few minutes up the road and be on the North Country Trail for trail runs and hiking. « This was a good location for Grand Marias exploring. As I drove up I realized the pic from the Ad is the other side of the house, I walked around to make sure I was in the right place. It's older with alot of wood but cute decorations and pretty much everything we needed. It's small but functional. The the screened porch that is turned into a bedroom/living room is fine as long as you dont want alot of privacy, it's a partial wall, doesnt go all the way to the ceiling and door that does not...
