« Rigtig dejligt ophold, en skjult perle midt ude i skoven. Restauranten laver dejlig mad både morgen, middag og aften. »

« When we arrived at the hotel they did not have our booking in their system and looked very surprised to see anyone there. We were the only guests at the entire hotel, but they still did not have a room available for us at 3.30pm when we arrived. We got our room at 4.30pm but was told we should wait 1 hour with using the private pool as they had just put in the chlorine. The rooms are a bit messy and dusty. We actually went there to look for a potential wedding venue, the people we were supposed...

« Très bel hôtel sur un site magnifique avec un SPA proposant un massage balinais incroyable ! »

« Fist the road leading to the property is nothing short of dangerous. Save yourself the injury and either walk down and up or just don't book this place. The owner is a weird man that will try to charge you extra for everything. I asked for a pool towel and he told me it would be a $3 charge per day to use a pool towel!! The sheets had hair on them. And no cover for the blanket. You're just supposed to sleep with the same bare blanket that the rest of the previous guests slept with. The shower...

« Clean when checking-in. Old building but nice staff. Pool is looking good. »

« Quiet and convenient location »

« Truly the Bali I came to see! Far from the hustle and bustle, nestled in lush forest, framed by village rice paddies and coffee farms. Highlights were the trek in the dense rainforest of Mt Batukaru and the warm welcome of village life in Karya Sari. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. »

« A beautiful setting with wonderful staff, even if one or two lacked attentiveness. The bamboo bungalow was beautiful. The bed and beddings were 5/5; very comfortable. Unfortunately, the accolades stop there. Because the "retreat" is so remote, there are no other eating options nearby so guests have to rely on the hotel restaurant. As good as the food was (save for the cold soups), the options were very limited. This was unacceptable given we were the only guests and the menu was not extensive at...
