Good location for local beaches & Bamburgh castle
Hotel very clean and freshly painted. Great view of the sea. Our room was clean and modern but noisy as next to the bar and water evacuation pipes just next to our bed. Probably got the hotels.com room. Breakfast booked for 9 am - very good but service disorganised.

Very friendly staff in a superb location - opposite the sea. The rooms were very light and bright. The food was excellent. A changing menu of good quality items. Whitebait was the best ever tasted! The staff worked closely as a team to ensure great customer service. Would love to stay again.

From arrival to departure the staff were extremely friendly. The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the Northumberland Coast and beyond and it's only a few minutes drive to Bamburgh Castle. The beach is literally across the road from the hotel and great for dog walks. Our room which was situated on the ground floor was gorgeous and meticulously clean, it had double doors leading to a private patio which was perfect for Delphi our dog. From breakfast to evening meals the food was delicious with plenty of choice and the portions were perfect. Delphi was treated to a sausage for each of her breakfast visits! An extremely dog friendly hotel and we shall definitely be visiting again.

Really enjoyed our 4 night stay. Great location to see the sights of Northumbria and almost direct access to the beach. Staff very friendly and the most amazing views of the sea from lounge/bar and breakfast room. Our room was very clean with lovely decor. Could not fault the whole stay. Well done.

We would not hesitate to stay here again, everyone was so lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent hotel, in a fantastic location. Breakfast was gorgeous, and filled us all up for the day,big advantage was having use of the pool,at the holiday park next-door which was absolutely spotlessly clean,large pool,jacuzzi, steam room and sauna will definitely be back

Fabulous hotel in a great location!
A gorgeous hotel, in the perfect location! Whole hotel was immaculate, staff are really friendly the breakfast is delicious. We opted for the superior room, it was a really good size with a double Sofabed, king size bed, little outside space and stunning bath. Staff cleaned and replenished room supplies daily. 5 minute walk into Seahouses, with the beach directly over the road. 100% recommend!

Poor breakfast - vegan choice
The hotel is beautiful, location and a great spa experience close by. Really disappointed with lack of vegan options and I usually love a hotel breakfast. I left hungry, after a minuscule hot breakfast portion. My vegan request hadn’t been noted and I had to ask for soya milk, and given 2 small jugs. It was more of a what can I eat here? than great choices. I rarely complain, but hope this can be better for other travellers who are plant based and want some healthier protein options I.E., Soya yoghurts and maybe some berries to go with… I noted this at reception and a verbal apology given. I would not recommend.

Lovely friendly place by the sea
Had a great stay! The staff were really accommodating especially of our little sausage dog and the room was lovely. We also had breakfast the next morning which was really tasty. Only thing I would say is the room was very warm and we couldn’t seem to cool it down. Other than that 5 stars and we’ll definitely be returning

Thanks for a great stay.
An overall great experience. The staff were very friendly, dog friendly and accommodating. The room was very cosy, the tv had Netflix, the room was so warm that we actually had to turn the heating down on the coldest weekend of the year, also featuring a storm (can't remember having to do that before) The breakfast was very good with lots of choices for the health conscious. Ideal location to get to the town and the huge beach. Will definitely book again

Great location. Delicious breakfast with loads of choice. Lovely decor and great choice of toiletries and refreshments. Only downside was vent from kitchen was next to windows so room always smelled of fried food.

Happy to strongly recommend!
This is a lovely small hotel with lovely views from the bar and restaurant of the coast. Probably the best thing about the hotel is the very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was one of the cheaper ones but had excellent facilities and a great shower. A bargain one night stay with fabulous breakfasts included.
