From the kitchen to the deck, everything in this home is at your disposal. The private hot tub is available around the clock -- no reservation needed. This home welcomes up to 1 dog -- the yard and nearby trails are ready for your pup. Driveway parking is available at the property. Detailed check-in instructions, including the door code, will be provided prior to your arrival. As a guest, you also have access to Sea Ranch community amenities including the pools, tennis courts, and miles of trails. A recreation pass will be provided.



The Neighborhood:

Guests of all ages will love spending days walking along the Bluff Trail and down to the beach or even walking to the Sea Ranch Lodge for a glass of wine on a sunny afternoon. Bring your clubs to spend days on the green at the Sea Ranch Golf Links, or lace up your walking shoes and explore the bluff lined trails. The community features miles of bluff-top and forest trails, tidepools, two heated community pools, tennis courts, and The Sea Ranch Lodge with its restaurant, lounge and café. Stock up in Gualala, just 10 minutes north, where you'll find grocery stores, restaurants, a hardware store, and gas. Bodega Bay is a beautiful drive for fresh seafood.



Getting Around:

This Northern California vacation rental is located in The Sea Ranch, a unique community in just south of Gualala and about 50 miles south of Mendocino. Further north, the Mendocino Coast offers breathtaking sights and lighthouses including Point Cabrillo and Point Arena. Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa is the nearest airport, about 1.5 hours east. A car is essential for exploring the area.



Other Things to Note:

Sea Ranch has three recreation centers with heated pools, saunas, and tennis courts. Access passes are provided with your stay -- check availability upon arrival as these shared amenities can be popular during peak times.



Exterior lighting is minimal by design to preserve the stunning dark sky -- bring a flashlight for evening walks and enjoy some of the best stargazing on the California coast.



Keep your eyes on the horizon from December to April -- gray whales migrate just offshore, and this property has a front-row seat. Visit in spring and the meadows explode with wildflowers. April through June is peak bloom season along the Sonoma Coast. The warmest months are June through September. Expect coastal fog most mornings that gives way to sunny afternoons.



You're welcome to bring one dog (up to 50 lbs.). Please keep your dog on a leash while using the trails and clean up after them.



Cell service can be spotty along the coast. The home has WiFi for staying connected.
