« Cynthia was very accommodating and responsive during our stay! The listing was accurate and very comfortable. It’s tucked away but close enough to everything we needed. We were even able to walk to great food places and a really lovely ice cream parlor. It’s a great place and well situated. »

« Several things were not what was expected. Most notably was ants all over the kitchen counters and sink. And very damp towels folded in the bathroom. The towels had clearly not been dried enough and were presented as if useable for morning showers. But we came to find them wet and smelly. We didn’t have time to dry them so we had to use what we could. Finally the beds were in terrible condition that sank into the middle of the- it was a very unpleasant night sleep. »

« Very clean and sweet property. Attractively furnished. Check in was easy. Good communication.Kitchen was very easy to use. Did lots of our own cooking. Would have appreciated some quality stainless steel pots and tops as we can’t use anodized cookware for specific health reasons. »

« Ivy Cottages was the perfect place to stay because it was easy to reach UVA. The cottage had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed. There was also easy access to a grocery store. I would definitely stay here again. »
