Situated on a quiet but accessible street that is walking distance to everything
The courtyard is very cute and a nice place to sip a glass of wine or your morning coffee
The rooms were clean and contained everything we needed for our stay--extra towels, sheets, etc.
I just wish the pool was closer to the actual property
It was the perfect location halfway between River street and Forsyth park. Parking on street was never an issue we always had a spot right in front. The apartment was very secure multiple locks to get in. Paying with the app for parking made it easy. The free DOT bus picked up just down the street on Drayton if you didnt want to walk. It had some extra furniture in the apartment that wasnt in the photos but that was ok it was nothing major. My complaints were very basic there were no tall mirrors to make sure i liked what i had on, the shower bench kinda made it interesting to get in and out of the shower, the bed is a queen bed and i am used to a king so thats a comfort thing for me and the curtains let a good bit of the street and courtyard lights into the bedroom at night.
Clean comfortable right in the middle of the historic area Metered parking right outside was never a problem- we got a 2 day visitor parking pass from the city garage and had no issues. Would not recommend for more than 2 peopleat all periodeverything period
Located in the Historic district, property is within walking distance of most sites in the city. Ample for 2 people, but there is only metered street parking with a limited number of spots.
Pro- Great location Cons- Apartment is in need of re-furnishing and painting. Has a musty odor.No frills. Bare necessities..Remodeling was going on above us and workers were cutting wood outside our apartment windows of the 4 days we stayed.
The apartment was extremely charming. Its a well maintained older unit on the first floor, full of character. The location is absolutely wonderful, we enjoyed people watching out the window. Just a few minutes walk to anything in the historic district.
This was a lovely, clean, apartment in a great location in historic Savannah. It was in walking distance to everything I wanted to see but it wasn't in the middle of the tourist area. It felt private. The kitchen had every thing I needed to make meals. The bed linens and bed were dreamy to sleep in. This is on the first floor and was mostly quiet, but there is some occasional traffic noise. I always sleep with ear plugs when I travel, so nothing disturbed my sleep. The management company checked in with me to see if everything was to my liking. I mentioned one thing that I could live without but thought might be helpful to have and they made sure I had it by the end of the day. I didn't use the pool. I would definitely return to here.
Overall the place is quite nice, but it bothered me that I had to go back to the grocery store to purchase the correct (basket) filters for the coffee pot. When I called the management company to express my disappointment that they hadn't provided a few filters (something all my previous VRBO rentals had done) she simply referred me to the list of items provided and sure enough no coffee filters were mentioned. All I'd ask is that you provide a few like you do other small items or indicate that the coffee filters are not provided and are the basket rather than the cone variety. I had to buy 100 and my coffee maker at home can't use them. The next renters will think the management company was being kind but they were not.
We went to Savannah to experience the culture and history of the hostess city. The 150 year old property in a residential area of the historic district was absolutely perfect. No kids, no vacationers, no drama or commotion , just a quiet place to rest and relax between excursions around the city.
Overall, it was a nice place to stay very clean and walking distance to most things we wanted to do. We enjoyed Savannah very much. We did wish the swimming pool was in walking distance, unfortunately it wasnāt so we did not get a chance to use it
We enjoyed the perfect vacation. Location was between Forsyth Park and River St. Our room was cozy and comfortable and very clean. Will stay there again!
Beautiful historic property. Had all the amenities needed. Easy to walk the historic district and has many eateries near by.
We struggled with the door lock initially but later got the hang of it. Owner/manager very responsive.
Would definitely stay again.
The place was great for walking and was very clean and nice. Only problem was construction was going on in the place above us which started everyday at 8 am. Forget about sleeping in or enjoying a quick nap. The outdoor garden area was cluttered with construction material so no enjoying that. Overall though we enjoyed our stay here and would do it again.
The location of the property was just right. We wanted to be in the Historic District with everything available by walking. Lots of good restaurants with gluten free options for me.
The Liberty Street Location was great. Able to walk to most attractions in the Historic Area. We were out and about all 4 days. Restaurants were only 2-3 blocks away.
Disappointed that there were renovations in the neighbourhood. Tools and lumber left on the benches in the shared courtyard. Unable to enjoy sitting outdoors.
The emailed videos on entering the building were very helpful. Would suggest the accommodations to others.
We enjoyed our stay overall. The location was great and the pricing was reasonable. The overall unit was a little lacking. Very sparsely decorated, furnished and seemed to just need a little care inside. In the end it's just a place to sleep and shower though. Appreciated the texts checking in on our stay, the video instructions to get into the unit, and the recommendations for the area.
This was the perfect location to explore Savannah from a local's viewpoint. The apartment was as advertised, convenient to food, coffee, sights, and shopping, and very comfortable. It was a wonderful stay and the entire historic part of Savannah is easily walkable.
really nice area and property is as described and pictured. only let down was that the apartment was quite damp - the smell of damp was overwhelming and mould was visible on the bathroom ceiling. it wasnt possible to open windows to circulate air.
