Summer in the Catskills! It's time for an Upstate, NY trip where you'll take in the fresh mountain air and see the beautiful Catskill Mountains!

This Cozy Saugerties A-Frame retreat is ideal for a family or couples’ escape. A charming 2-bed, 2-bath, A-Frame home sits on a secluded, wooded, 1-acre lot with wonderful views of the Catskills Mountains.

Boasting a massive 24’ x 16’ outdoor deck, you can enjoy your morning coffee or take in some nighttime star gazing. This rustic home also provides a fully equipped kitchen stocked with cookware, flatware, utensils & spices! Plus amenities such as Free Wi-Fi, 3 SmartTVs and an outdoor gas BBQ grill as well as a Propane Fire Pit
. All making this, the place to be for your next retreat year round. (AC & Heat).

I do allow Pets. 1 Dog - 20lb Max / THERE IS A PET FEE.

Located right down the block from Opus40, this amazing Stone Sculpture Park hosts several art and musical events throughout the year and is the perfect place for an afternoon excursion.
A short drive into the Town of Saugerties, gives you a wide variety of places to shop and explore. Plus there are many Cafes and restaurants where you can grab a bite.
You’re also just a 10 minute drive to Woodstock too!

Driving through the Catskills, taking in the incredible mountain scenery can be breathtaking. Whether you’re stopping at a local farm stand, hiking through the woods or taking long walks, returning home for snacks or cocktails is your reward.
Relaxing and enjoying some peace and quiet on the deck as the sun sets over the mountains will certainly put you in an “A-Frame of Mind”

As a friendly reminder for those staying in Spring / Summer / Fall
. You’re gonna be in the country. There are critters. That's part of the beauty of why you're visiting right? So, if you're going to roll around in the leaves or grass
 walking in the woods and being out in the yard, then I highly recommend you take off your clothes put them in the dryer and run for 20 minutes, and then do the Hudson Valley / Saugerties foreplay, check each other all over !

Comfortable, private little getaway

Loved the place! Very nice location in the woods, with no visible neighbors and a barely visible road through the trees. Plenty of space both inside and out on the decks. AC works great with multiple nice mini-splits. Easy to get to the nearby towns. Opus 40 down the road can't be missed, it's incredible.

Nick deserves more than 5 stars.

Nick was stellar in his communications. He was so quick to respond, always so helpful and considerate. The property worked very well for my needs though it was a quick two night stay with rainy weather so I did't get to enjoy the outside space. There are many creature comforts that Nick provides to make for a lovely stay. Thank you, Nick!

Wonderful winter escape- great home away from home

What has become a regular winter Woodstock retreat turned into something magical with the beauty, warmth and smart comfort of Nick’s home. His friendly affect and many small touches made this one of the best home-bases for me in my decades of solo retreats. Secluded, woodsy with beautiful A-Frame design but 10 minutes to either Woodstock or Saugerties. Great cooking kitchen, treadmill, great sound and entertainment or quiet nooks for writing and reading. Good heat and warm floors. Bathtub. Special place and I will return. Thank you Nick!

Relaxing Getaway

Beautiful, relaxing stay at this home in Saugerties. We loved the private location yet very close to Woodstock and Saugerties. Nick’s communication was fantastic, responding quickly to our questions. Saugerties retreat

The house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The host thought of everything. Perfect spot close to towns of Saugerties and Woodstock and about a half hour away from amazing Hudson. Opus 40 is grand and a short walk away.
