Camino Trip
This was the first night of my Camino, accommodation was basic but everything I needed. The only issue was the cockerels squawking during the night which didn’t aid a good sleep. It was a good starting location for the Camino as you literally turn out the door and you’re on the Camino leaving Sarria.

The bathroom had a very dirty odor. Almost unbearable Noise level extreme throughout the night Confusion on where to leave keys upon our departure

I am not sure that this comment refers to our establishment since there is no noise and we have never had complaints about the bathroom in the room that you used. Anyway, if your experience was not positive Also, no one has ever had trouble returning the keys

Morgens das Personal war sehr freundlich, war wohl die Chefin selbst . Ich war zu früh, was aber nicht schlimm. Abendessen war einigermaßen. Burger war gut , Pommes hätten ruhig länger gekonnt , waren noch roh . Was mir besonders gut gefiel, war das es im Zimmer warm war . Bei dauer regen Tat das gut . Morgens beim Check out gab es kurz Probleme ( die Annahme ich hätte noch nicht bezahlt) Personal abends hatte es wohl nicht vermerkt . Konnte schnell geklärt werden und das Personal entschuldigte sich mehrmals.

MY EL CAMINO ADVENTURE
This hostel I found to very good and the room was very clean and comfortable and the restaurant had a very good menu?? The manager and staff very very friendly and helpful?? Really enjoyed my stay there?? If I was to return to the town of SARRIA THERE WOULD BE NO PROBLEM FOR ME TO STAY THERE AGAIN

Per iniziare il cammino di Santiago è proprio ideale visto che passa a 20 metri.....centrale come posizione e personale disponibile anche se non parlano italiano però nel complesso ok.

Enjoyed my stay
This stay was a solo stop during a Camino. The weather had been very wet and I needed to take a break and await my my wife's arrival. The bedroom was clean, bathroom clean, bedding clean, TV in full working order. The cafe attached served a great menu del dia option including wine for 10€. The food was plentiful and I really enjoyed it. Staff were helpful and one spoke good English. The hotel is 20 minutes walk from the railway station via the town centre. I would happily stay here again

This Hostal is a gem of a find.
2/26 - Hostal DP Crystal, Sarria Renovated, clean and spacious. We stayed in a triple bed room with a private bathroom. Linens, towels and bathroom necessities were included. The beds were fairly new and very comfortable. Located close to stores, shops and a selection of restaurant and cafe bars nearby, the property also has it’s own restaurant which served very tasty and delicious local dishes. The portions they served us were plentiful which we found out later that Galicians always served their guest a healthy serving. Lourdes - our waitress provided us with exceptional service. Nadel who received us at the hostal was also very helpful and courteous. Lucia who served us coffee at the bar in the morning gave us the same great service as expected. The overall service we received from this property is outstanding and their staff are very friendly, professional and accommodating. This Hostal is a gem of a find. We highly recommend it.

The hostel is located in the border area of Sarria, the attitude of staffs in the hotel are a little bit detached. We think the hostel is just ok, but Restaurante O Descanso near the hostel is very good.

El hotel es lindo y cómodo, esta cerca de todo ya que Sarria es muy pequeño. Lo recomiendo porque todo estaba en excelentes condiciones!

convenient for the Camino
Bathroom was private but unvented. Could have used a little more furniture in the room (room for 3, 3 beds and only 1-2 chairs and a tiny desk. Otherwise clean and convenient for the Camino de Santiago. Bar-cafe downstairs and available laundry service (but not really cheap).
