Villa Sueño Moderno (“Modern Dream”) is a multi-level, 3+1 bedroom home with panoramic ocean views. The home has a private elevator that stops at each floor. 

Imagine sitting in your private infinity pool, 3 stories up, overlooking the bay of Playas del Coco and the Pacific Ocean with sprawling views of mountains, volcanoes, and the Papagayo Peninsula.

Our company manages 140+ vacation rentals in the area so we operate differently than an independent Vacation Rental "Host". We have a team that will assist with your visit to the property:
Our VACATION SPECIALISTS can assist with transportation, tours, boat trips, in-property services like chefs and spa services, as well as area information.
One of our HOUSE MANAGERS will be your point of contact for any questions you have related to the property before and during your stay.

Coco Bay Estates is located between Playas del Coco and Playa Ocotal. Tucked off the main road, you are just a 5-minute drive to the shops and restaurants of Playas del Coco. Guests can access the development’s on-site fitness facility including a gym and tennis courts, and use the facilities at Ocotal Beach Club, in Playa Ocotal.

You’ll have this home all to yourself.

The main living area starts on level 3 with a large, covered outdoor kitchen and grilling area plus a small dining space and fantastic views of Playas del Coco and the surrounding mountains. Upstairs, the main home encircles the oceanview pool with in-pool seating at the infinity edge for gazing out at the ocean and the lush landscape surrounding the home. The u-shaped, covered terrace provides shade and plenty of space for relaxing with both lounge chairs and conversation seating. The south wing of the home begins with the living space with a large sectional sofa and Smart TV, perfect for watching the game or having a movie night. There is a half bath just off the living room before you head down a few stairs to the open kitchen. Stainless steel appliances, breakfast island seating for 4 and everything you need to whip up a great dinner on vacation – or let us hire a local chef to do the cooking! Just beyond that is a beautiful dining table that seats 8. All of the living, kitchen and dining spaces offer views of the pool, the terrace and the Pacific Ocean beyond.

The north wing of the home has 3 bedrooms including the principal bedroom with King bed and large windows that give you beautiful views of the cresecent-shaped bay and even peek-a-boo views of Playa Ocotal. This room has a large closet, ensuite with water closet, vanity with double sinks, large shower stall and an amazing jacuzzi tub with ocean views. There are also 2 additional bedrooms in this wing of the home – the first has a queen bed and the second has a trundle bed (2 singles) plus a dedicated workspace. These bedrooms each have their own sink and toilet and share jack & jill access to a large shower that sits between them.

But wait! The tour isn’t over yet! The 2nd level of the home has a standalone apartment with ocean views, a full kitchen with breakfast bar seating, a living area with Smart TV, and a queen bed. There is also a Murphy bed for additional sleeping space and when in the upright position, it has a small desk space that folds down. The apartment has a 3-piece bathroom and private laundry as well. On the ground level is a private 2-car garage.

This home is great for large groups and families that want lots of space to spread out PLUS the option of having guests enjoy the additional privacy of the standalone apartment.

Guest will be most comfortable with a rental car for their stay, which we can assist with! Golf carts are not permitted in this section of the development due to the steep terrain. It is not a property we consider walkable due to the location and steep terrain.

We're getting new neighbors! Coco Bay Estates is growing and additional homes are being built in our area. We know construction can be a bother on vacation, so we have reduced our standard nightly rates by 10% to offset any inconvenience this may cause. Note that construction only happens during the day. If you're visiting Costa Rica to explore the amazing beaches, volcanoes , waterfalls, and rainforests you probably won't even notice to work! Pura Vida!

Book it!

Beautiful home and incredible views. The only somewhat negative thing I can say is about the steep hills you need to drive up to get to the house, not for the faint of heart. Once you go up once or twice it’s not that bad. Truly spectacular views and great property, we loved it.

Stunning location and view

The house and property were beautiful and very centrally located to shops, restaurants and excursions. It slept our family of 7 very comfortably, and we loved watching the sunset from the pool in the evenings. Would highly recommend.

This property is not only stunning, but the team managing the property are top notch. They reached out the day before checking in to help with any needs we may have already had. They helped with understanding the house, the area, and even helped book a few excursions. The house is amazing. Incredible views, comfortable accomodations, and lots of books/games for the rainy days. They thought of everything. I highly recommend this property.

OHHH the views!!!

Beautiful views of Coco Bay right from your pool deck or from the master bedroom! This house was well equipped with anything you need if you are doing any grilling or cooking. Rich Coast Vacations is a very responsive host which quickly answered any questions we had. Don’t miss Mar Azul for dinner and Salazar fish market (on a dirt road) for the freshest fish if you’re cooking! One of the best properties we’ve stayed at!

Hidden Gem

I couldn’t wait to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. When I saw the pictures prior to booking I was hoping the pictures were accurate of what I was going to see. The house is just amazing! Not only was it spot on amazing but the kitchen was more stocked with appliances and utensils then I think I have at home. Jennifer was our point of contact and she was just incredible, great communication and quick responses. She was extremely helpful in advising us on things to do and where to eat. We came out with 4 kids and there was plenty of space for all of us. The club house which is in the gated community was fantastic with an incredible gym overlooking the pool which had a fun slide for the kids. The club house also had a great Hibachi restaurant where we ate several nights. That was very convenient since we didn’t have to drive far from the home to eat. The restaurants and supermarkets were all conveniently located nearby in town which was right outside of the gated community. I have to say I am going to miss the morning sunrise sitting by the pool with coffee enjoying the peacefulness and taking in the spectacular view. This is definitely our new spot in Costa Rica which we will be coming back to several times a year. I am hoping this place is available in December because we are definitely coming back.
