before the check-in, staff on the phone are very helpful, check-in goes well, staff is helpful too. After checking out, we forgot the glasses, and they brought it to our next hotel, appreciated their service here very well, and thanks!
In terms of facilitair of the apartment, there is an impression of NOT truly care about the needs of the travellers, and not thoughtful of providing a pleasant stay, a kind of minim service: 1. the kitchen has no hand towels and towels to dry dishes
2. cleaning sponge and cleaning towel are dirty while it costs so little money to have new sponge and cleaning towel for each guest stay, specially in this covid time. We had many experiences of holiday rentals, it is a very basic standard to have new cleaning sponge and cleaning towel when enter the house.
3. no basic suppliers like salt, washing powder for the washing machine. Although, the guest can buy these themselves, but if one stays just for 2-3 days, it makes no sense to spend time to buy these. A small gesture of some basic daily suppliers like the above, will make our stay more pleasant. In other rentals, all these are taking care of.
4. when checking in, the staff told me that the bed is a king-size bed, but it turned out to be two single beds with one sheet covered, there is a bit split between the beds, and made the sleep of two of us very uncomfortable. If we knew of it, we would preferred a smaller double bed with no split in between.
If these are not improved, we don't feel like recommend to others to rent from Madeira Sun Travel, and difficult for us to rent again from it.
Other than the above, the hardware of the facility and house is fine.
