The Gulf Place community is located along a 26-mile stretch of sugar-white sand and turquoise waters of Northwest Florida’s celebrated Emerald Coast. As one of the 16 distinct beach neighborhoods in South Walton, it has its own distinct character and charm. This colorful community on 30A is comprised of 25 acres located in the heart of Santa Rosa Beach on the corner of 30A and 393. Gulf Place was specifically designed to slow visitors and locals down with palm tree-lined streets, wide sidewalks, colorful outdoor patios with large umbrellas, nature walking trails, green spaces and ample park benches to sit and enjoy the views.  Gulf Place is unique from all the other South Walton neighborhoods.  Residents and guests gather here to enjoy original art, boutique shopping, local cuisine, live music and a laid-back atmosphere. 

This condo is less than 2 miles to Santa Rosa Golf and Beach Club.  It's also a 20-Minute Drive to Silver Sands Outlet Mall or 15 minutes to Grand Blvd's many shopping and dining options, including a Grand movie theater.  

The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Seahorse Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 715 feet out from the Topsail Hill Preserve State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Seahorse Reef is at a depth of 13-18 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

Clean and great location
The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The location was exactly what we were looking for. The outdoor pool area was cleaned every morning. It was spotless. The condo was dated, but I felt like the price reflected that, it didn’t cost as much as the ones that have been redone and I did not have a problem with that, we loved everything we hope to stay again.

Unit needs a revamp, filthy carpeting, furniture awful, tub clogged, toilet seat loose, shower head old and leaking, to turn shower on awful and leaking, cabinets dirty, I could go on and on. Only 4 towels for stay, no dishwasher soap for one use. They want to know when you leave, but won't let you check in early. Balcony dirty. Windows not clean, can't see out.

great spot
can't beat the location, heated pool and hottub were geat amenities. it's an older building and the unit reflected that, very bare bones, but 100% got the job done. had some issues with the kitchen lights not working and they offered to fix it while we were there but we declined the interruption to our stay. really enjoyed the balcony, and the fact that there were luggage carts and an elevator. also loved that there were places to spray off beach stuff just outside of the pools. coffee shop, ice cream, oyster bar and other restaurants one block over.

Unit 309
This unit needs major updates. We had electrical issues throughout our stay. Lights in bathroom and kitchen continued to go out. The light in the kitchen doesn’t work. The TV in the living room doesn’t work. There are small ants in the kitchen. We have stayed in other units in this complex that are much better than this one. We will not rent this unit again.

Unhappy Vacationers!
Exterior work and timbers propping up the building made outside of property ugly. Condo was dirty especially the bathroom. Shower leaked and water sprayed to ceiling. Bathroom sink leaked and light bulbs were burned out. We have stayed at Gulf Place for the past 3 years and had lovely condos, clean, well furnished, attractive and we loved it. Also, there was absolutely no water view. In our view, the property was vastly overpriced.

Great Location
The location was nice and convenient, the food was amazing. The beach was beautiful and clean. The condo was a slight disappointment from the pictures. It needs some updating (the doors are rotted, the carpet is matted and old, and the sofa was old and dingy. Mainly, the view from our balcony was obstructed by over grown palm trees that were hanging into the balcony and in need of trimming) But the area, food and beach made up for the condo downfalls.
