Needs Some Attention
This was the second visit to this property. Location is really good. Short walk to the beach and local venues. My overall rating is based on the overall value of the home. The property is for sale and it’s easy to tell the current owner isn’t spending making improvements to it prior to the sale. The house is dated and in need of repairs. Living room furniture is worn and needs replaced. Several of the beds could use a new mattress. The patio furniture on the living room deck has a table for 2-4 but only one chair. We were going to open windows in the evening a couple of times but there were no screens and frames were dirty with bugs and dirt. Not all the chairs in dining room were part of a set the bar stools need to be replaced. The kitchen had most everything you’d use if you’re going to be cooking. Once again, the skillets need to be replaced simply due to use. The private walkway to the beach was so overgrown we had to walk down the street. This made washing off in the back porch frustrating because you had to walk around the house, there’s no walkway, to wash off before going inside. Otherwise you wash off and then walk back through the dirt and pine needs before going inside. Could go on with “needed updated” but it’s all cosmetic for the most part. Again, it’s not that the property is in terrible condition. It’s just needs some TLC and fir the price you pay you expect more. Most of the items listed were issues last year as well. That all said, great location. 3.5 stars
