Hotel El Cactus exactemente es un lugar donde se siente bien. El staff, la ubicacion, la limpieza, la piscina sobre el techo, el desayuno : es un 10. Totalmente recomendable !

Another wonderful stay at the Cactus - the staff is always helpful and super friendly. We were a bit bummed out that the property discontinued their wonderful breakfast, but there are plenty of options nearby to get good Colombian breakfast, and the nespresso machine in the room is a life saver.

This is a very unique property. The rooms are fantastic. If you are there for a few days though clean towels are additional. Any cleaning is additional actually. No good options on sight but good delivery options they will help you with. The entire area is very walkable.

This place is perfect for a relaxing and spacious stay in Santa Marta. I am relieved and so, so glad to have found this beautiful and quaint accommodation. Maria was perfect and the rest of the staff and security were extremely professional and very kind. The apartment is spacious, bed is comfortable, and the experience was simply unforgettable. I will be back and simply cannot wait!

It’s a boutique hotel so not expecting them to have everything a large hotel would have, but they charge you for room cleaning which I didn’t like.

Our stay has been excellent. We couldn’t sleep the night before in another hotel and we choose this hotel because of its position which is a bit outside the noise of the disco and bars. The staff was super nice and they put us in a very comfortable situation. Highly suggested if you want to stay out of the mess of Santa Marta!!

I LOVED my stay at El Cactus. The staff from every shift were very positive and attentive at all times. The property itself is gorgeous, the rooms are clean, and it is very peaceful. It is less than a 10-minute walk from the center where the bars and restaurants are located.

The hotel is pretty and up to date, but it's the staff that are truly outstanding. Extremely helpful and courteous. Thank you guys. It seemed like most people had breakfast in their rooms, but take it on the upstairs terrace. Beautiful and peaceful way to start the day.

Don’t look anywhere else to stay in Santa marta! The staff here are wonderful. The place is a short walk ( 10 mins) to the hustle and bustle of the beach and the surrounding area. The hotel is quiet and safe! And for remote workers, the wifi is great!!! Both my partner and I were on video calls at the same time no issues at all. The breakfast is amazing and everyone is so nice and helpful. Also the water pressure is great and there’s actually really hot water. Beds are comfy and the hotel is spotless. Can’t wait to come back!! Thank you so much 😊

Beautiful oasis!
On the whole it was beautiful. Our only concern was getting hot water at the times we wanted to shower. The staff is aware and I believe they are undertaking effort to correct the problem. I think only our room was inconsistent.

Cactus has personal attention and care, Maria, Indira y Carlos take great care of their guests. The room is super spacious, beds are on the too firm side, walking distance to restaurants and centro. No parking and driving and finding parking are a challenge. Breakfast is superb, go hungry!

Sorprendente nos encanto
Este hotel ubicado en todo el centro histórico de Santa Martha es la mejor opción cuando la visita es para descansar y visitar la ciudad. No es para playa pues no queda cerca de las playas buenas. Reservamos la suite presidencial porque veníamos de un paseo más largo y estuvimos allí tres noches. Nos gusto todo la atención, lo acogedor, la habitación es una belleza y el desayuno es mejor que en un hotel de cadena. En nuestro caso la habitación tenía 110 mts entonces nos llevaban el desayuno a la habitación sin hacer filas y súper puntuales siempre nos cumplieron con la hora exacta mejor dicho más cumplidos que los ingleses encantadores. Aclaró que solo hay dos suites que son las grandes por supuesto son las mejores. Entonces nuestra experiencia fue espectacular. No se si en las otras habitaciones que no son tan grandes pero se ven muy buenas igualmente. Tiene terraza y una Pisicina pequeña como para broncearse y abajo una Pisicina lineal como para hacer ejercicio. Volveremos pronto
