« We really enjoyed staying in this quaint and updated Penthouse which was actually very quiet. It was especially nice to leave our car in the parking lot most of our visit since we could walk just about anywhere we wanted to go. There were lots of great restaurants nearby and we enjoyed a 2 1/2 hour bike tour in town our first day there. I would definitely recommend this gem to family and friends! »

« A very clean, comfortable, peaceful and pretty quiet (except for a little 101noise, which didn’t bother me, I’m from L A) also thoughtful and useful extras everywhere. There was a trail two doors down that was great that took you on a loop with a fairly good incline to a beautiful meadow with wild flowers and gorgeous views I’d say the loop was just over a mile, perfect for me and my dog, we hiked it 4 times and never saw a soul, we loved it. The views are amazing, and it's a very short drive to the main strip of restaurants and shopping areas. It was exactly what we wanted and expected. « Was a cute stay. Apartment is small but was plenty of room for us. There is a nice outdoor seating are and ping pong table. Small coffee shop across the street as well. There is currently construction during the day out front which would have been helpful to know. The area will be beautiful once the construction is done. Would also be helpful to have a curtain over the open window in the bathroom since it looks out into an area people pass by. We would stay here again if in the area. »

« My friends and I just loved the town of Carpenteria and the Tropic Shores condo was the best place to enjoy all the town had to offer. We walked 3 blocks into town and 1 block to the beach. What a treasure. We all plan to return. »

« The place was as described. Unfortunately we got some unusual cold and wet weather and given that this is really a beach stay, we didn't get to take advantage of everything. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to opt for an upstairs unit - floors are very thin and you can hear everything. Super easy check in and check out and really nice and clean. »

« Easy and understandable directions. Quite and very clean place. It is a place to eat simple meals. But it could use a microwave. It was an appropriate for our visit we used mainly to sleep and shower. Would stay in future visits. »
