We had family members staying nearby at tortuga beach club so this condo was perfect for convenience. Clean, spacious and everything went smoothly. looking forward to renting this unit again in the future.

The property is beautiful. Great location. Close to everything. We walked to the beach. Watched the manatees and iguanas in the back yard. I don't remember seeing in the addbut their were bikes and beach buggies loaded and ready for borrow. There were a few issues with our stay but Break Away was great and very responsive to our issues.

Property was a great location. Good size for a small family. The master bedroom mattress was too hard for my liking, however the queen was soft. Property was clean with easy beach access and bike paths! Good communication with the rental company

We had a great stay! The property was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach. We also enjoyed the wildlife in the canal, especially the manatees! We would stay here again!

Short trip to Sanibel

Stayed at Lighthouse Villa for 3 nights. Loved Sanibel and enjoyed the beaches. Lighthouse villa is very conveniently located in walking distance to the beach. Great location with kids.

The condo was beautiful, updated, clean, and very cozy. The bed in the master was great! We loved the canal in the back, we saw several manatees. It is pretty good walk to get to the beach access, but it’s a straight, flat walk so it’s not too bad.

Wonderful experience!

Will definitely stay there again. Saw manatees in canal outside the back door several times. Place was clean. Excellent communication with the host.

Lighthouse Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was excellent. Great location and very nice townhouse. We live in southeast Florida and try to go to Sanibel at least once a year. It’s a perfect getaway for us. Hopefully we will be able to reserve the lighthouse for future trips.

Was not able to make it due to winter storm that covered most of the country with ice and snow. Tried to see if they would swap dates as this storm was all over the news, host was unwilling so we lost our money as we could not get there. Was looking forward to it as we had stayed here about 20 years ago. Was trip for our anniversary.

We like it so much it’s our go-to on Sanibel

Close to the ocean and on a quiet dead-end street. It sits on the canal where you can watch manatees. We brought our own coffee pot as it has a Keurig and we drink lots of coffee.

Sanibel after Hurricane

The apartment is spacious and was clean! Proximity to the beach is great! Still some cleanup on the island, but you could go on vacation. The two beds were very good, the sofa bed was not good and worn out. This should be renewed. All in all, I can recommend the accommodation.

Perfect choice

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will definitely be back. While amazed at the recovery efforts on Sanibel and Captiva Islands, there is still ways to go. Did not influence the enjoyment of our stay in The Lighthouse at all, everything is new. We used the onsite bicycles and walks to the beach and shopped locally. Was pretty sad to pack up and leave, so much more we wanted to do.

Great location and place to stay. Walking distance to beach. Very clean. Only complaints are no soap in 1/2 bath on first floor, poor water pressure upstairs shower, tub in full bath with some mildew/mold in seam (needs fresh caulk) & living room furniture fabric rough/scratchy. Had beach chairs (4), umbrella and styrofoam cooler for use—which was great! And outside hose for rinsing off sand was also very convenient.
