« This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. The rooms are NOT what are pictured here. When we arrived we were told our room was down the street. We were walked there by a hotel staff who showed us a door off the busy street, and down a dark and dirty flight of steps. The view is incredible, but it stops there. « I spent one week at Amankaya and had a great time! Fernando is an amazing host that always goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The location is a bit secluded from everything but theres a boat that can pass by the lakehouse 3x a day which makes accessing all of the other villages very easy. There is complimentary water and kayaks available. The kitchen is very big and very well stocked. Theres also a lovely dog and 2 cats to keep you company. I'd recommend Amankaya to...

« La vue du balcon est tres jolie! L'eau chaude fonctione seulement 30 secondes, donc on peut dire q'il y en pas. Pas moyen d'avoir un Uber a l'hotel pour aller en ville. »

« La chambre était propre, spacieuse et situé tout près du lac. Une bonne douche chaude aussi, ce qui n'est pas évident à trouver en Amérique Centrale. Le seul point négatif, c'est qu'il y a beaucoup de chiens errants qui jappent la nuit, ça m'a tenu réveillée à quelques reprises. »
