They were very nice and very accommodating. However, if you rent a golf cart with someone other than the hotel you have to park far away😩. I think the hotel should have pool parties or foam parties on the resort but nevertheless this hotel was GREAT!!

Sunset Caribe in Belize offers a serene tropical getaway with stunning ocean views and a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with a full kitchen if needed. The staff was friendly and attentive. They do offer golf carts so make sure to book your golf carts in advance as they do run out pretty quickly. However, there are cheaper options near the city center that will deliver the golf carts directly to you. The hotel does offer the usage of bicycles for free which we did take advantage of. Riding bicycles was a great way to see the island! We would definitely stay here again.

Definitely would stay here again. Bought my mom here for Mother’s Day and it was really nice. The property had really good communication and even allowed us to check in earlier than scheduled timing. Beds were comfy and house keeping everyday was a plus, just wish they would come earlier in the day instead of 3pm when you would like to take a nap but all in all I Would recommend

I like the room was clean! The management was very quick to not resolve the issue we were having. They were not accommodating when it came down to the things we asked for. We decided to not stay at this location anymore.

We loved this property. The staff were so nice and friendly and they also were very knowledge about transportation options, excursion options, and great food options in the surrounding areas and in town. Also, the views on the property were amazing!!!! You could get the best pics of the sunset…will definitely return soon!

Loved this place. Parts are still under construction but otherwise it’s relaxing. I don’t recommend the Rain restaurant. It’s overpriced and not good at all. Travel downtown (10-min golf cart drive) to eat delicious local foods!

Beautiful, spacious rooms with a beautiful view. The resort is walkable to a few restaurants, including the Truck Stop which is a collection of food truck style restaurants and a bar. The option to rent a golf cart from the property was also highly convenient. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property or stay there again.

It was my birthday and the room was beautiful! I had the loft which had the pool right outside. Staff was very nice and accommodating. I rented the golf cart from the hotel, and they have suggestions on where to go. I will definitely stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay at Sunset Caribe .We stayed in the Cabana Loft for 5 days and it was perfect .The pool access from the room was breathtaking .Even though it’s quiet and had a lot of families I still enjoyed my stay .Everyone was so polite and friendly.Parking was easy and not a hassle. Not too far from little eateries like the trust stop and rum dog . Fairly close to secret beach .We had problems booking reservations at Caramba and the receptionist was more than helpful. I would definitely book again !! Thank you

Beautiful room/ 1 bedroom condo, with spectacular view of the ocean . I could sit on the balcony and enjoy the sunset. The pools were beautiful. Great food at the bar. It is the sister property of Grande Carribe, which has 2 very nice restaurants . San Pedro is accessible by golf cart, which you must rent. The property made it very convenient to rent on sight. They also booked very nice excursions for me. Snorkeling and a cruise.

This location was perfect. About 10-15 mins from the airport, downtown area, and then maybe 20-25 mins to Secret Beach. The rooms are up to date and clean! I love the view of the pool area. Happy hour by the pool was just we needed once we arrived! I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Stayed March 2024. Oh My Goodness, let’s start with the free rum punch at check in where you pour your own rum, LOVE. The hotel offered great hospitality, from EVERYONE, security, drivers, maintenance, front desk, and all service employees, everyone is so nice and just willing to help with anything. That alone was a top tier part of my Experience in Belize. Hotel offers transport from ferry via their van, we had Veronika as our driver and requested her the remainder of our time there, she was great! She knew it was my birthday, from our convo and called and made my reservation for Carambas even bought me a birthday sash and gave it to me at pick up! The loft was perfect; first floor, walk right from the patio to the pool, closest thing to a swim up you can ask for, amazing! They have a pool bar that has swim up option if you're in that pool otherwise at the other pool a couple of feet away they will bring your drinks and food. We were right on the water, the views were great. Room had everything upgraded amenities, washer/dryer, kitchen, comfortable bed and working air. They also have golf carts to rent which was seamless and convenient. Loved this hotel, almost felt like a compound you have security working the front gate and allowing you to enter and exit, so it felt safe for us. Will I be back yes! 10/10 recommend!

This is an amazing property. We stayed in a loft, which is waterfront and walk out to the pools. It had a full kitchen, washer and dryer. It was very quiet and nice. Short golf cart ride into San Pedro. On the lagoon side so you get beautiful sunsets. Two big pools and a hot tub. Never an issue getting chairs together any time of the day. Drinks and food are expensive but you can bring your own to the pool. The lobby has great hours for anything you need including plastic cups and towels. They have kayaks you can use for free to go out on lagoon. Grocery store across the street with great prices. Hospital and pharmacy just down the street. Lits of restaurant options within a few minutes south or north. About 25 minute golf cart ride to Secret Beach and 10-15 minutes into all areas of San Pedro. Perfect location for us. More adults at this resort. Only kids we saw were some teenagers. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The place was nice and clean, the reception is rude and not helpful at all. Not sure who is the manager but they need to have better and nicer staff. They did not have beach towels and we had to get help for our safe about 4 times.

Once the current construction at the property is completed it should provide everything that it currently advertised. Falls a little short with timeliness of housekeeping, this may be due to the staff still getting to grips with the scheduling etc. Very clean and modern accommodation with every necessary convenience.

Construction noise unbearable, service unreliable
Still in construction. Noise started at 7am all days (yes weekends) making it impossible to relax on my vacation. Little communication from staff, especially at check in, we waited until well past time and were told only "I don't know". Pool was very cold and service at the bar was slow, even for "island time." Housekeeping was unreliable, never restocked body wash despite giving multiple shampoos. On a plus the rooms were large (we just didn't want to be in them because all you could hear was construction drills and banging.) Overall do not recommend

Great experience. Loved the hotel. We did have 1-2 days that our cleaning lady did not do a good job at all but as soon as I requested our previously lady who was excellent everything was back to normal and our room was perfectly clean every day we came to our room.

Very clean and up to date hotel. The staff was very attentive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Property not yet competed. Missing amenities and those it does have are not consistently available. Rooms are great, this is the only perk. Hot water goes from scalding to cold. Hot tub not always hot and often without jets. No gym. No restaurant. No access to sister grand caribe property. Price too high for an incomplete property. Staff still learning the service ropes. Pools are beautiful but too cold to get in. Rarely is there music. No vibe at all.

Brand new appartement, all looked great, new and clean. Very much above our expectations. The only thing we did not like were the limited options for food & beverages at the pool and the pool water was quite cold. Very nice and helpful staff everywhere!
