320$ a night for a motel, that's a bit steep! The rooms seem to have been recently renovated, and the comfort is worthy of a 3-star hotel. Apart from the high price, the motel is really very good...

Bel emplacement sur le bord de la mer. La chambre était fraichement rénovée et le lit très confortable. Restaurant à côté pour le petit déjeuner. Excellent service!

Perfectly located close to Cambria and Hearst Castle. Lots of enjoyable hiking trails in the area and the best Seafood restaurant on the West Coast, Seachest, just a couple miles south on Moonstone Beach.

Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because there was no AC so the room was very humid and hot. There was ceiling fan but it did not keep the room as fresh as I’d like.

Found a spiders nest in our room and a dirty comforter. Had to complain. Staff gave us two rooms to make up for it when we requested a refund. Gave us attitude when we asked to inspect the rooms first. Not cool but luckily they were fine.

We had so much fun at our time here. The hot tub was hot and the pool was warm enough to enjoy. The woman at the front desk was so kind and patient. We will definitely come again.

I stayed at this hotel maybe 6 years ago... The rooms were old and run down but a great price. But holy cow the upgrade are incredible! Looks like a completely different hotel!! Stayed with a family of four and our very furry friend (sorry house keeping) and had a great time. Rooms were very clean and beautifully updated. Love the slider that opened up to the back grass area made taking the dog out to play so easy. She had a great time running around. The pool/hot tub area was very relaxing. Would definitely stay the night. Room was only 124 with the 25 dollar pet fee. Can't beat that price! Easy walk down to the beach.

Our check in was terrible. They claim to be dog friendly but when I arrived with my service dog the host was combative and ignorant to the law. I had to educate him and he still was trying to extort me for $25 a day which is illegal in Ca after stating facts about the law he reluctantly surrendered. The room is basic and had an awful smell with crackheads wandering the parking lot. Do not stay here you can find accommodation across the street I suggest the Morgan ! Don’t stay here

This motel was great for just sleeping there at night due to the proximity to Hearst Castle and Cambria. Beds and pillows were not comfortable at all. No blankets on the bed - just a slightly thicker 2nd sheet. Couldn't even use the indoor hot tub. Too many large people man spreading and refusing to even allow us to come in.

Must say I was disappointed with this visit. The grass was not mowed. We had really noisy people above and beside us. Might consider staying here again because we had excellent service. In the past, we have had quiet rooms.

I LOVEE this hotel! I have been coming here for about 5 years now and the service is always the same. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, and there are a few good restaurants nearby ❤️ Very close to the beach, and just overall a beautiful and quiet area. I can’t wait for my next trip here ❤️

Staff is very friendly. The stay was ok for the money. Rooms are not tidy, but again, it’s a motel, don’t variant high expectations. Pet friendly for $25! Walking distance to the beach and great sunset view!

Good location on the main strip. Well maintained and all features in the room were functional. Upgraded to a room with a separate bedroom upon arrival and they were very reasonable and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Pet friendly with great staff.
