The Space:
Oasis by the Sea is a beachfront 3rd-floor penthouse in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. This spacious retreat features 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a private rooftop terrace, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the refreshing trade winds. The complex offers direct beach access and a range of family-friendly amenities, including a communal pool, tennis courts, a basketball court, and a beach volleyball court. Conveniently located, Oasis by the Sea places you close to some of Puerto Rico’s most stunning beaches, lush rainforests, and exciting tour options.

ACCESSIBILITY NOTE: This property is located in the community called “Veredas del Mar”, which does not legally require elevators in any buildings since they have a maximum of 3 floors. Please take this into consideration if you or a companion has any disabilities.

LIVING AREAS

Step into Oasis by the Sea, where you are greeted by a modern, elegantly designed living room with high ceilings. The sophisticated décor and contemporary furnishings create a refined yet comfortable ambiance for your tropical getaway. To the left of the living area is a spacious balcony, perfect for enjoying the refreshing breeze and your morning coffee. Adjacent to the living room, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area with seating for six, offering everything you need for a relaxing stay. There is a half bathroom just off the kitchen and living area.

BEDROOMS

The bedrooms at Oasis by the Sea are situated on the villa's second level. Upon entering, you’ll find a cozy lounge area with a flat-screen TV, offering a perfect spot to unwind. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, air conditioning, a spacious closet, a private balcony, and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom includes a queen-size bed, air conditioning, and a large closet, while the third bedroom is equipped with a bunk bed (twin on top and full on the bottom), air conditioning, and a private balcony. There is a second full bathroom conveniently located in the hallway next to the bedrooms. All bedrooms are fitted with blackout curtains for your comfort.

PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):

We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.

KITCHEN

Oasis by the Sea features a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, stovetop, coffee maker, and toaster oven. The kitchen provides ample counter space, and there is seating for four guests at the kitchen counter. The dining table, which seats six, is conveniently positioned in front of the kitchen, making it easy to turn cooking and dining into a social event. Additionally, the dining area offers access to the balcony, where you can open the doors to enjoy the refreshing tropical breeze.

GETTING AROUND

Renting a car is a must when staying in Rio Grande. The villa includes two (2) parking spots. There are many activities within 15 minutes of driving distance and the roads are easy to navigate. Ubers and taxis are not readily available in this area.

Experience the glowing waters on a night kayak tour in the bioluminescent bay in Fajardo.
Taste the local flavors at the staple kiosks in nearby Luquillo – right next to the beach.

Go on horseback or a four-track ride off the beaten path in Carabali Rainforest Park.

Play a round of golf at the Wyndham Rio Mar Golf Course or any of the neighboring nearby courses like Bahia Beach Resort & Golf Club in the Rio Grande or El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo.

AMENITIES

West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler.

West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.

HOUSE RULES

Check-in time is at 4:00 pm
Check-out time is at 11:00 am
NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please keep noise levels down during these hours out of respect to the neighbors.
The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.
All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
Maximum occupancy of 6 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors.
Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease, or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged.
Do not hang towels from the balcony or windows. A $100 fine may be applied if you break this rule.

Fabulous outdoor spaces, close to beach. Wagon and boogie boards a nice touch. Overlooks pool. Pictures and listing true to reality. Drawer space very limited, and would have liked a full sized blender. Overall, though, exceeded expectations!
