Treecasa is amazing!
The hotel facilities were excellent (especially the pool) and the staff were great. Always had a smile on their faces and never let your drinks get empty. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

TreeCasa is a lovely getaway from the bustling streets in SJDS. We only stayed for two nights but had a great time. Would rec.

A gem in the middle of the jungle, beautiful place It was masterfully designed . Very nice place to stay , my niece just got married here and that’s what is the purpose of our visit . Looking forward to come back again when in Nicaragua next time with all our adult kids.

mi habitacion era primer piso y en segundo piso habia otro habitantes. teniamos que escuchar ruido cada vez que ellos caminan. este edificio no esta disenado nada para evitar ruido de segundo piso. si habitantes de segundo piso camina, habitacion de primer piso se tembla mucho con bastante ruido.

Amazing design, incredible detail in every corner: landscaping, sustainable architecture and construction, light footprint paths. The room was excellent, comfortable and beautiful furnishings. Staff was friendly and attentive. Happy to have this amazing option near San Juan del Sur.

Great property to stay in San Juan Del Sur. Your kids will love it the pool with slide and waterfall diving platform. The property is huge and there is a lot to explore. They also provide shuttles to and from city centre and the beach.

Bonito pero sin ánimo para regresar
El servicio es de lo mejor con el personal súper amables y servicial, pero las políticas del hotel dejan un mal sabor. Al inicio debes de firmar un papel donde te exigen que exoneres al hotel de cualquier accidente que tengas dentro de las instalaciones y al salir te retienen como 5 a 10 minutos mientras hacen una revisión de la habitación haber si todo está ok; cual al entrar ni siquiera te entregan un inventarios de las cosas qué hay dentro de la habitación.

El restaurante cuenta con un menú muy amplio de deliciosas comidas. Las habitaciones son muy acogedoras y cercanas al bello entorno natural. Hay varios senderos con vistas preciosas. En fin, fue una experiencia que definitivamente deseamos repetir nuevamente.

Great, But.
Neat place, Great pool, Great food, spacious room. Our only complaint is the pool closes at 6:40 and the bar at 9:30. There really is nothing to do hear in the evening. Also, the AC in the room is inadequate because of the porous nature of the roof. I will come again, but without kids or a terrific book, i think one night is enough.

amazing!! overall best place for your money.
amazing place, very clean, sharp staff. the food is the best. great place for relaxing in nature, is wort every penny. only 2 tings you have to be aware of: don bring a girlfriend that is scared of bugs 😅 they should offer a mosquito net so insects dont fall on your bed at night.second: the road to get there is not paved dont use gps call first so you dont get lost.

Tree Casa has some awesome minds behind it. I've been visiting since its inception a few years ago and am rapt with the ways it has continued to evolve. Three of the most wonderful things is about this place are the staff, the seclusion, and the landscaping. It is really a spectacular visual feast, nestled in the hills between San Juan del Sur and the surf beach of Playa Maderas with the sound of howler monkeys and tropical birds as the background. Superb yoga facilities, two great pools, a water slide and waterfall, as well as a a superb restaurant and bar make the facilities outstanding. From here you can go horse-riding, mountain-biking, or surfing, or just hang in a hammock in the treetops and watch the sun set.

Awesome unique resort in the forest
very nice stay at TreeCasa resort. delicious food, friendly staff, nice pools w. slide and 10ft jump. Room is clean and spacious. Balcony with chairs, table and hammock was great. Shuttles to San Juan del Sur every hour or so. (15-20min trip) Free bike rental available Food and drink specials every night at the bar/restaurant. Definitely recommend!

Has a lot of potential but ...
TreeCasa is a very nice resort with large comfy 2-room cabins. The cabins are on a hill in the forest and offer nice views down to the pool area. The 2 pools a pleasant but too much concrete. Food is very good and innovative.What could have been a lovely stay turned into annoyance as a lot of noisy construction was going on during our stay. We were assigned a cabin that had just been painted, with toxic fumes everywhere. After a lengthy back and forth, we were offered a late check out and complimentary lunch. We will probably give it a second try but will make sure beforehand that no works are going on.

Staying at Treecasa was a great experience. The employees are great!. Every single employee we encounter during our 7-day stay was friendly and professional. The staff does a great job making you feel comfortable. The place is clean, drinks and food are good. I love the location, road to the hotel is a little rough an dusty so if you drive there make sure you get an AWD vehicle. My only suggestion is for the hotel to consider providing basic kitchen utensils. The rooms have a mini refrigerator, sink, counter but no utensils at all. Other than that I think they do a fantastic job to make customers feel comfortable and welcome.

Stay one night to check out the area!
Beautiful remote resort. Cozy rooms. Good food and drink, which cost more for 2 than price of lodging. Check out time is 11:30. Free shuttle leaves at 2 PM. Taxi to/from$20. Pool was not clean.

Fun destination/great pool
Great new hotel, the only suggestions I would have to offer this resort are 1 - to add/include some art in the rooms. The walls were empty/blank...perhaps they are still waiting to add this feature to the rooms but there is so much fantastic art in Nicaragua I would love to see that reflected in the rooms. 2 - landscaping, while the grounds were very neat/tidy I was surprised they did not have more plants with flowers/color as the general area around San Juan Del Sur has a lot of different plants and flowers. Again, the resort is relatively new so perhaps this will fill in with color over time.

"We're glad you had a great stay with us, and like us also appreciate art and ecology! In fact TreeCasa was envisioned as a giant indoor/outdoor art gallery in the jungle, so we have intentionally left spaces for artists to come in over time and add their own brush strokes to the canvas. Our first Artist-in-Residence just joined us this month, so the art is coming!"

The ride is worth it when you want to relax and enjoy nature. The ceviche is a MUST try. The staff and service were excellent!

Friendly staff and nice landscaping.
Stayed there for 3 nights and loved it. A nice hotel still in development, they just openned about a month ago so one of the pools was still not finished. The rooms were comfy and the staff was great. Had a small but delicious dining menu. It got really crowded on the weekend by people that went for the day, apart from that we had a nice experience.

Hotel muy agradable con un exc personal
El hotel cuenta con exc personal, buena comida, buen servicio. Todo muy limpio y ordenado. Lo único que pueden mejorar es poner aire acondicionado y tv en todas las habitaciones ademas de habilitar el room service por medio de un intercomunicador y una nevera no estaría de más. Recomiendo grandemente el hotel y espero volver a visitarlo.

Desde su visita hemos venido equipando el Hotel para ofrecer a nuestros huespedes mejores condiciones, por ejemplo todas las habitaciones cuentan con Aire Acondicionado, nevera pequeña, al igual que contamos con el Room service.
