IT WAS VERY NICE BUT ONLY ONE ELEVATOR WAS WORKING. WE WENT TO THE SAME ROOM AND THE SHOWER DRAIN THAT DIDN'T WORK WELL WAS AS WAS 9 MONTHS BEFORE AND THE LEFT SINK FAWCET STILL HAD PROBLEMS CLOSING.

Main attractions minutes away. Área little dark and maybe dangerous after 7:00pm. Staff is very helpful and great customer service. Hotel clean, room and bathroom are big and comfortable. My second time in this hotel and I will stay again next trip.

El hotel se encuentra en el centro de San José por lo que caminando puedes llegar fácilmente a museos y lugares para comer y cenar. El desayuno es bueno, el estacionamiento un poco pequeño, personal amable. Un plus es su jugo de moras en el desayuno, buenisimo! El único inconveniente es que había un solo elevador funcionando por lo que era un poco tardado para subir/bajar.

Stayed for 2 nights and this was my first time in San Jose. The area around the hotel was safe and bustling with activity. The room was modern, comfortable and everything worked. Breakfast was great and they have common areas on every floor. Great stay and great hotel and awesome staff!

Great location. Only issue during my stay was that not all the elevators were working properly. Only one was working. Also the water was not flowing out properly in the sink as the pipe had to be cleaned. Overall clean hotel and nice staff.

Great Stay
Nice room and great location. Located near all recommended sites. Breakfast staff was particularly helpful explaining each item on the Costa Rican breakfast. It was very good. Hotel let us leave our luggage after checkout so we could continue sightseeing until our ride picked us up at 4:00 pm. Very helpful!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. 5 star stay. Nice hotel. Great central location in San Jose close to everything within walking distance. Excursions out of town are easy to arrange and great fun. The hotel has a hospitable friendly staff who helped book tours and were very helpful. Breakfast is included with the hotel stay and is very good. And when you travel they make you a boxed breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend staying at Urban Green Hotel & Suites when you visit Costa Rica.

The good first, the location is good if you want to visit museums, bartender was helpful and real friendly, the people running the breakfast area are great. The cons, no bellhop you have to bring your own luggage into the room, only 1 elevator in service. Towels were brown, the room was dusty. The area is a bit sketchy at night.

Hotel is dated and not accessible
The hotel is older and could stand some safety repairs to access their restaurant, elevator, and rooms. They have removed what must have been 3-4 stairs and filled them in with a very steep dangerous narrow ramp which is not readily walkable. Current access is a safety hazard. Rooms are not generally accessible due to over-all stairs. My room had no window, no chair, no working refrigerator. It did have an AC unit which I did not need to use. It had a TV with some English programming. Hotel location is excellent in center of San Jose. Walking distance to Cathedral, Indoor Market, Jade Museum, Gold Museum, National Museum, National Theater.

Fantastic Breakfast
It's a lovely little hotel near downtown and the breakfast was fantastic. The staff were all very nice and very understanding of my limited Spanish. They generally had enough English to close the gap. Just a couple of minor issues with elevators and the shower needing repairs.

I booked a queen size bed room for a 10-night stay and the hotel gave us a cheaper 1 double bed size room. The queen size bed room or 2 double bed size room were both not available. We cannot fit in the bed that was given to us and this is not the accommodation I booked and paid for. We were told by the reception that we have to PAY $200 MORE to upgrade to the bed size room we booked and already paid for. SCAM and deceiving advertising… listing and charging a queen size bed but gives a downgraded double size bed room! After contacting Expedia for 3 consecutive days and proving the hotel manager that the bed is too small to pass as queen bed, I got a refund on the 3rd day and moved to Holiday Inn nearby which was cheaper and much nicer and has a big pool.

Additionally, the request for 1 or 2 beds is subject to availability. At the time of your visit, it was not possible to offer you 2 beds in this type of room. room because they were not available due to hotel occupancy reasons, we additionally relied on your request for a bed when you booked.Each of your comments were received and discussed directly with the General Management, who kindly gave you the exception of an early departure without penalty, since the hotel always provided you with what you reserved on the page and the additional cost that you mention was because an upgrade to 3 categories higher than the one you booked was offered.The Management Committee receives your suggestions as growth opportunities to serve you better.Best Regards,

Good value for the price! The hotel has a unique layout and some cool features - like translucent floors and automatic lighting. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good and filling as well and the chef has a lovely personality that makes you feel welcome. It's important to note the ceiling height in the rooms is quite low. I'm short (5 foot) so it didn't bother me but if you're tall, it could be a problem.

Es un excelente hotel, las habitaciones están completamente nuevas, me otorgaron un up grade en cortesía a una habitación suite, y me encantó! La habitación contaba con sala, cocineta, cafetera, frigobar, 2 baños, y una cama king size, 2 televisiones, el baño está muy amplió, un closet amplió y lo mejor de todo es el desayuno en cortesía, todo el personal es muy amable, la ubicación es perfecta, se encuentra justo en el centro de San José, puedes llegar caminando a cualquier parte, el elevador estaba en mantenimiento pero sí me avisaron así que eso no demerita la excelente calidad del hotel, sí estás buscando una opción de hospedaje en el centro de San José esté hotel es el correcto, no le pide nada a un hotel de cadena internacional pues sus estándares son muy similares a un Holiday Inn, Barcelo, Wyndham.
