« Be aware of this listing and property! it is not accurate at all. We booked a room and got a totally one, not to mention it wasn’t even the same location ! Listing pictures look like AI versus reality! Secondly there is spiders inside crawling which we had to kill ( big spiders ). Also waken up by construction on the property that started at 7am . Unacceptable! Beware. »

After we were already in Guatemala, and were trying to figure out where we were headed next, we noticed that the address said Santa Cruz. « Good points: -The house seems to be a relatively new construction . -The second floor room has a decent view to watch the sunrise. But the house is not in the lake. -The kitchen was well equipped. Regular points : -Lots of Construction around that starts at 6:45AM - From the main road to the house is dirt and rocks so You have to carry your suitcases. -Far from the embarcadero or main are in town, a good 30 minutes walk or 10 minute Tuck Tuck that cost Q10/ $2 US quetzales per person...
