La première impression n’est pas très positive quand on sort du métro et qu’on ne connaît pas la ville, mais ce n’est pas la faute de l’hôtel. Concernant l’établissement lui-même, ils m’ont fait payer 375$ au lieu de 170 de frais d’établissement "par accident" le soir de mon arrivée. Aucun montant ne s’affiche sur leur machine à carte bleue. La chambre était jolie mais au 2e étage seulement et avec vue sur un mur, donc très sombre. La douche n’est pas très pratique à utiliser car on doit passer par de l’eau froide à chaque ouverture du robinet et il y a de l’eau partout (satané pommeau américain !). Le lit était très confortable, par contre, et la chambre était très propre.

Bel hôtel mais dans un mauvais quartier
Hôtel de bon standing. Chambre petite mais bien agencée. Salle de bain moderne et bonne literie. Dommage que l’insonorisation de la chambre fasse défaut. En effet, même au 15eme étage, on entend parfaitement les bruits de l’extérieur. Qui plus est, l’hôtel est dans un quartier dangereux le soir où on se sent pas en sécurité passé une certaine heure et pour cause, bien que le parking à côté de l’hôtel soit payant (49USD/nuit) et sécurisé avec un gardien, la grille se ferme à 22h. des lors impossible d’arriver plus tard sinon la voiture doit dormir dehors ( bien qu’on ait payé) avec le risque que la vitre soit fracturée ou que la voiture soit volée. Situation assez délicate quand on fait un roadtrip en Californie.

The staff and hotel were remarkable 👌 absolutely loved my stay. The folks around the corner in tenderloin I can imagine are scary for some. I personally ran into nothing but wonderful people and also the homeless. Drugs and such are prevalent.. so dont poke the bear we say in Montana 😉

Great price and amazing service. Was traveling with my pet and the front desk clerk went out of his way to find me the best option for me and my cat! Loved the modern rooms as well and the historic feel of the lobby!

Bed was very uncomfortable; very worn in. We stayed in a suite and it didn’t not resemble the pictures. Missing all of the colorful accent pillows and decor. Walls were thin s d could hear walking above us and banking next to us. Bathroom had no real counter space and towel hook was broken.

Room is clean and cute. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Convenient location but it’s very close to the sketchy part of the city. Definitely not recommend for solo woman travelers who don’t know the area. Not a place you can walk around and enjoy the city comfortably. I travel with my mom and sister, have to Uber everywhere from and to the hotel.

Knowing rooms in SF are small and since we were staying for several days we booked a suite at the Spero. It’s always nice having a space separate from where you sleep. It was perfect! And you can’t beat the price! As others have said, just make sure you walk towards Union Square and not towards the Tenderloin …we felt perfectly safe, even late at night.

Honestly there was slight mishaps at the start of the stay but the staff handled it very well along with the manager when he was made aware during the day since the issue happened at night time. Really nice hotel. Honestly the only downside is their parking. There is a parking structure next door that's pretty costly but has in & out privileges so makes it a little better.

Great price, great place with awesome location. Room was clean, it was very quite stay. Close to shopping amd food option. Parking is available next door, paid $100 for 48 hours. Some homeless people noted through out the shopping area and hotel, but thats states problem not hotels. Over all it was a great stay.

Beautiful & comfortable room with a small dining table (which also makes a great work desk), a fridge, and ample light. The staff is amazing and the gym has a peloton bike, many other cardio machines and hand weights.
