Loved the location. Restuarants while very good had limited food and drink options. Expanding the menues would be great. Staff everywhere were outstanding.

The grounds are very nice and it has a great walk/bike path. The restaurant we tried was very good and the service was great. The room was disappointing, old, popcorn ceilings, very small bathroom, bed was not comfortable, linens and pillows below average. Coffee machine only had espresso pods and it did not heat them properly. TV was good and worked very well.

We have stayed here many times over the years. Great location on Mission Bay, yet only a short drive to Old Towne, Downtown, Sea World, Zoo, and Balboa Park. Staff is very cordial and helpful. The grounds are lushly landscaped and well maintained. Rooms are spacious, well appointed, and look to have been recently refurbished. Beds are very comfortable. Our only negative this visit was the breakfast we had at the resort’s restaurant. My wife ordered the two egg breakfast, which arrived cold. I ordered the eggs Benedict. In addition to arriving cold, one of the poached eggs was nearly raw, and the other egg was hard boiled. For &60 one would hope they would at least have been served warm and cooked properly. Other than the disappointing meal, though, we had a very enjoyable stay and would come back again.

Our favorite parts were the pool and beautiful walking paths, least favorite were the hidden fees ($70 between resort and parking fees!). The room and garden view were very nice, but we did find hair throughout the room and the coffee maker didn't work. The staff wasn't terribly friendly either. Restaurant was ok, overpriced.

The staff is fantastic. Everyone was helpful and engaging. We had booked 2 kings but needed one to change. They could not accommodate us so they sent a rollaway bed. That was comfortable. We asked again and they were able to change our room for us and move our luggage. The property is older ans big but didnt feel it. Dinner at Covewood was delish. Would love to stay.

Not a happy camper due to some uneasy encounters. We ordered in food from the restaurant and it was very good but pricey. Wasn't treated well while ordering pizza in person; A patron became tearful after witnessing the incident. She used her privilege to correct the situation. We stayed twelve days and did not order anything there again.
