Très bien, personnel très accueillant et avenant et bilingue. Communication très facile même en anglais par téléphone. Chambre spacieuse et confortable. Petit déjeuné buffet excellent sauf en ce qui concerne le café.

Très bel établissement non loin du centre ville. Excellente literie. Personnel féminin très gentil et disponible. On ne peut pas en dire autant des jeunes gens qui ont des attitudes un peu surprenantes.

Hôtel bien situé à Salta et très bon accueil. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine car il faisait chaud lors de notre passage même si nous étions à la fin novembre.

hôtel bien située,personnel souriant, aidant.
Nous avons aimé Salta et l'hôtel est très près du centre ville, peut se marcher aisément, le personnel de l'hôtel est très aimable, souriant et aidant, la chambre est très propre peut-être un peu trop petite. Je recommanderais cet hôtel avec plaisir.

Une exellente adresse dans un cadre charmant
Il nous a été réservé une accueil chaleureux exceptionnel dans cet hôtel de charme à la décoration raffinée faite d'œuvres d'art et d'objets artisanaux. Nous avions une chambre supérieure, spacieuse, lumineuse et de grand confort. Un joli jardin tropical fort bien entretenu entourant un petite piscine permet de se détendre après la visite de la ville dont les principaux monuments sont à deux pas de l'hôtel. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse.

Beautiful property, lackluster staff
The hotel itself is very nice with gorgeous wood floors and nice small touches throughout. It’s located very central in walking distance for most destinations in Salta. We found the breakfast to be lacking as it was a few pastries and watery yogurt. Most importantly, the front desk staff seemed annoyed by any question we asked whether it be about our stay at the hotel or a recommendation. The main guy at the front desk was generally too busy to help us and made us feel like a burden. When we asked for a nice coffee shop to grab breakfast their best suggestion was Havana aka the Starbucks of Argentina when there are plentiful cafes and coffee shops nearby.

When I travel to Salta, this is where I stay. 2-3 blocks from some great restaurants and bars, including the best burger I've ever had in Argentina!

The hotel offers a very good relationship between quality and price. The pool and garden are especially attractive. My gripe concerns the room I was initially assigned. I booked a standard double and was, without comment, shown to a very small room. After a few hours I checked my reservation, the listing on hotels.com, and the hotel's own web site. My room was nothing like the 22 square meter room advertised as a standard double on hotels.com. Instead it was clearly the "double small" listed only on the hotel's own site. I complained. The desk agent on duty that evening said I was correct, that nothing could be done that night, but that I could move the following day (lots of fun to pack and unpack again). The following morning the desk agent claimed that my room was a standard double (this made me mad) but could switch me anyway. I moved to a more spacious room that corresponded to what was advertised as a standard double on hotels.com and the hotel's own web site. At check-out I requested compensation for the smaller room and was given 250 pesos (about US$4). I don't know if this was fair or a few pennies tossed my way to get rid of me. I note that the hotel has now switched around pictures on the web and shows a photo of the postage stamp room as a "standard double." In addition: internet connection is poor and the sinks in both rooms contained hairs of unknown origin. Watch out!

Hotel is in het centrum, maar toch rustig gelegen. In de tuin kun je heerlijk zitten. Kamer en bedden zijn prima in orde. Ontbijt zoals overal in Argentinië: brood om te roosteren, ham, kaas, jam, dulce de leche, medialunas, zoete yoghurt, cornflakes, fruit, koffie, thee, verse sinaasappelsap, cakes. Dus heel veel zoetigheid. Jammer dat er buiten het ontbijt om geen koffie/theegelegenheid was. De auto kan in een grote garage naast het hotel geparkeerd worden. Receptie spreekt Engels.

Characterful friendly hotel
Lovely little hotel with character and charm. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the small side but probably as we'd asked for an early check in which is fair enough. Breakfast was a bit on the sparse side but there were some lovely pastries. Would definitely return, the communal garden and pool area is a lovely place to sit for a few hours.

Beetje moeilijk te beoordelen. Eerste keer kamer 6 voor 3 nachten. Zeer ruime kamer met twee ruime bedden. Alle aangeprezen voorzieningen klopten en waren aanwezig. Tweede keer weer kamer 6 voor 1 nacht. Alles weer OK. Derde keer weer voor één nacht, maar nu kamer 8. Beduidend kleinere kamer met te klein tweepersoons bed. Voorzieningen uiteraard hetzelfde. Kortom, in deze klasse is dit hotel een aanrader, ligt ook bijzonder goed t.o.v. het centrum, maar zorg dat je niet in kamer 8 terecht komt.

Rooms were upgraded and modern and clean with nice views of pool area. Parking very secure. Staff friendly. Our only complaint would be there were no screens on the windows. When we needed air at night the mosquitoes got in.

This is a really quaint Spanish style cosy hotel. Beaut little architectural features. The desk staff all spoke English and we're most helpful. Only 5 - 10 min walk to town square. A great place to stay.

Bom! Confortável.
Fiquei em quarto single com cama de casal queen confortável, ar-condicionado, frigobar, banheiro com aquecimento central e chuveiro instalado sobre pequena banheira. Confortável, apesar de não ser grande. Bem localizado, podendo ir à praça 9 de Julho à pé. Região tranquila para andar, perto de alguns bons bares e restaurantes. Paguei parte em dólares e parte em pesos, tranquilo. A diferença de cambio nao chegou a significat grande perda. Café da manhã simples. Recomendo.

Great location, close to nice bars and restaurants. Quick and easy check-in. English speaking staff at front desk. Breakfast with fresh orange juice and they even made me some eggs which is not common in the Carb loaded Argentinian breakfast. Internet was good and loved the outdoor area around the pool to chill and do a bit work. Don't expect a new hotel but this is very good value for money. Anytime again.

Ótima opção de estadia em Salta
Uma bela casona antiga transformada em hotel, mantendo a decoração clássica em bom estado de conservação, com as conveniências modernas necessárias. Tudo funciona muito bem, cama muito confortável e roupas bem limpas, embora o quarto seja um pouco pequeno. Localização muito boa, perto de bons restaurantes e a menos de 10 minutos a pé da praça principal. Oferece garagem externa sem custo extra, a uns 20 metros do hotel (bem perto). Café da manhã excelente, com música andina de fundo e vista para a piscina. O pessoal do atendimento foi bastante simpático e solícito. É uma excelente opção de estadia em Salta!

Nice,neat hotel with character with great location
Nice hotel in great position. Staff was friendly. The doorbell did not work, so I stood outside for 10 minutes, untill I decided to knock very loud for a long time, then someone came to open the door. There was another couple in front of the door and they left after 5 minutes. Also the pool looked much nicer on photo then in reality. Other then that all was very nice

Great staff and super location
La Candela is very quant and quiet but still close to the action. The pool and garden area is a big plus. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is super!!
