We appreciate you taking the opportunity to give us some feedback regarding your stay with us. Our sincerest apologies that your assigned guestroom had an odor of smoke. We do have a no-smoking policy and enforce that with a fee. This will be followed up with our housekeeping team to ensure that this is addressed prior to placing the room ready to rent. We'll also discuss this situation with our Front Desk team so that if a guest reports the smell of smoke they're offering to move the guest to another room; we'd definitely rather have our guests be comfortable through their stay with us. It is great to read that you did enjoy your overall stay and that our breakfast offering was to your liking. Should your travels bring you back to the South Jordan area we hope to welcome you back and give you an even better experience. Wishing you safe travels.

Our apologies that you experienced a weird smell in the elevator and hallway; we do utilize essential oil dispensers in these areas so we will discuss this with our vendor to maybe get an updated scent. The situation you described with your interactions with our front desk team are definitely unacceptable, we expect our team to provide great service to our guests. This situation will be brought to my teams attention so that this can be addressed and avoided in future guest interactions. Please know that we did investigate the hole you discovered in your ceiling and confirmed that this was due to the smoke detector having been adjusted. This review will be brought to the attention of our housekeeping team and your claim of there being bio fluids will be thoroughly investigated as there is no excuse for this being the case in a room we've deemed to be guest ready. Thank you for this feedback. Our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience due to the elevator issue that arose. Please know that we take these types of situations very seriously and once reported we immediately reach out to our elevator technicians and have them come out to repair the elevators asap. We definitely understand what a huge inconvenience it can be to have to take the stairs and will talk with our team to do everything possible to avoid assigning our guests to the 4th floor when/if we're experiencing elevator issues. I did verify that everything was resolved and that these authorizations were returned. It appears this was a system error and our team would never purposefully charge our guest multiple times.
