Characterful 3-Bed House in Saint-Ythaire

Welcome to our beautiful house in Montagny, Saint-Ythaire. This detached cottage is in an idyllic setting on the edge of the picturesque village of Montagny. It is surrounded by vineyards and fields and has stunning views of the countryside. We have personally thought through all of the amenities and hope to provide you with all the comforts of home. The surrounding area has a lot to offer with Cluny and many other beautiful towns close by to visit. A peaceful and stunning part of Burgundy.

There is a private swimming pool onsite for your enjoyment! (Pool towels provided).

Staying here also allows you access to the private garden.


As a self-catering house, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.
The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a kettle, a dishwasher and a freezer.
The house is a perfect place to relax and offers a television and internet access.


This house has 3 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 6.
In the first bedroom, you will find a king size bed.
In the next bedroom, there is a double bed.
The third bedroom contains 2 single beds.


There are 2 bathrooms.
The first bathroom is ensuite, has a toilet and sink, a bath and a walk-in shower.
The second bathroom has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower.


Linen, towels, a hair dryer and an iron are all included.


House Rules:
- Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am.
- Smoking is not allowed.
- There are parking spaces at the property.
- A dishwasher and a washing machine are included for your use.
- Pets are not allowed at the property.
- There is a cleaning fee of £40.

"It almost pains me to write about this home because we miss it so much! This is the first vacation home we have stayed in where I rushed to get up to see the sunrise over the hills while sipping coffee and watching the cows. The home has French country charm but feels modern and comfortable. When we first entered the home, we were happily surprised by how clean and sparkling everything was! The pool is wonderful and we especially enjoyed the comfortable outdoor sofa.We will definitely book mark this home, it was a perfect, lovely stay!

Lovely stay
A very nice house in a private environment, no sound to hear but the nature, great view. The garden is beautiful, with a fabulous old lime tree. The decoration inside the house is very cosy, the house was well renovated, spacious rooms and clean. You can start a walk immediately from the house,
several routes are mapped out. The kids loved the pool :-).

Erholung im burgundischen Arkadien
Wer Ruhe sucht, Erholung, Stille, Naturnähe und ein authentisches burgundisches Landhaus, der sollte einmal in Montagny im Haus von Madame Kench Urlaub machen! Wir waren neun Tage dort und hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Das Haus ist urgemütlich und authentisch in vielen wunderbaren Details und ebenso der Garten, den wir wie den Pool sehr genossen haben. Wer das südwestliche Burgund entdecken will, der findet in diesem Haus den perfekten Ausgangs- und Ruhepunkt all seiner Tagestouren. Einen wirklich guten Bäcker für das täglich frische Baguette und die Croissants (die sind spitze - das sagen wir als langjährige Frankreichreisende) gibt es in Salournay, 6 Autominuten vom Haus entfernt. Ansonsten ist ein größerer Siupermarkt in Cluny, auch da ist man in 20 Minuten. In der Gegend muss man natürlich mal in Cluny gewesen sein, wichtiger noch aber ist Cormatin mit seinem Schloss und Park. Beeindruckend auch die vielen romanischen Kirchen in der näheren Umgebung, wenn man aufmerksam die Gegend erkundet, findet man kulturgeschichtlich Hochbedeutsames schon in der nächsten Nähe (z.B. St. Hypolyte...). Also: Unbedingte Empfehlung des Hauses, Gartens, Pools und der Landschaft drumherum. Burgund ist eine Reise wert...

Für Naturliebhaber
Das Haus liegt wunderschön in der Natur. Es ist sehr ruhig und wir haben es sehr genossen unter dem Lindenbaum zu sitzen. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das einzige was es etwas störend war, waren die vielen Fliegen. Es hatte leider keine Fliegennetze an tür und Fenster.
