« We are repeat visitors to Tradewinds and had another fantastic trip. The house is in a prime location across from Mullins Beach, and is perfectly set up to accommodate a party of 8 (the top bedroom most suited to teens or younger). Bedrooms and bathrooms are well laid out, with air conditioning in all of the former. Fans are in the internal and external communal areas which provide a decent breeze. The kitchen is well equipped, and it is very convenient to have a washer and dryer on the property...

« If you are looking for luxury this is not for you. BUT if you are looking for a perfect beach with chairs/umbrellas provided and a "chill" location, this is it. We've been coming to Barbados for over 25 years and Speightstown is my favorite part. It's got the gorgeous west coast beaches without the obscene Sandy Lane prices. There are literally roosters-hens-chicks on the side of the road; a local large grocery store, multiple small restaurants/bars with live music, and my favorite local jeweler...

« Our family of 7 adults stayed at Gibbs Glade villa for 14 nights in June and it was wonderful. The photographs on the website do not do it justice - light and airy, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a large barbecue. Shann was lovely, she took great care of the villa without ever being intrusive and Shanee was a huge help when we managed to lock ourselves out! Relaxing by the lovely pool was heaven, as were strolls to Mullins beach and Gibbs...

« As the website (now) says, this is actually 2 separate 2-bed en suite apartments. We (2 single friends) only had the downstairs one, which was beautifully clean and well-maintained, with excellent air-con, a good size kitchen area, and a good, shady, outside patio area. There is no sea view from there, and upstairs it is minimal and distant, so you won't see or hear waves crashing on the shore, which I had hoped for! « Our group of 5 adults and 4 children 6 and under greatly enjoyed our stay at Chindwin. The house is spacious and well-equipped. The furnishings are comfortable, not luxurious, which worked well for the kids. The appliances are a little battered but worked. The pool was wonderful, as were the monkeys in the yard.We were a little further from the beach than we expected but enjoyed the 15 minute walk through Speightstown, a charming little town. « Spindrift was an awesome choice for my family vaca. The location was perfect for having 2 young kids. Beaches were in walking distance.
