Bakery is opposite and Eddys supermarket a couple of minutes walk away. Also a short walk from the bus station. Apartment has everything you could think off to make for an enjoyable stay. « If you are looking for luxury this is not for you. BUT if you are looking for a perfect beach with chairs/umbrellas provided and a "chill" location, this is it. We've been coming to Barbados for over 25 years and Speightstown is my favorite part. It's got the gorgeous west coast beaches without the obscene Sandy Lane prices. There are literally roosters-hens-chicks on the side of the road; a local large grocery store, multiple small restaurants/bars with live music, and my favorite local jeweler...

« Amazing spacious property one block from the beach and ocean.Located in a quiet neighborhood with close access to public transportation to all costal sites and restaurants. The upper deck provides a view of the ocean and is great for sun and socializing. The property manager is very helpful and responds immediately. We will definitely be staying here again. »

« We are repeat visitors to Tradewinds and had another fantastic trip. The house is in a prime location across from Mullins Beach, and is perfectly set up to accommodate a party of 8 (the top bedroom most suited to teens or younger). Bedrooms and bathrooms are well laid out, with air conditioning in all of the former. Fans are in the internal and external communal areas which provide a decent breeze. The kitchen is well equipped, and it is very convenient to have a washer and dryer on the property...
