« There is no parking … How you can advertise bumping up a high kerb onto the pavement to park is wrong , we would not of booked this property … Only suitable for 2 people not 4 Needs a good deep clean »

« Thank you for a wonderful stay at Rivernene Cottages. Hosts Stephen and Phil were amazing and could not do enough for all the guests. We stayed in the Yew Tree Cottage, as a family of 4 (2 teenagers) this was perfect! The entire place is immaculately kept. The sweeping garden was a great place to chill out by the bank of the river as well as the delightful heated pool which was used many times during our stay! « The cottage was spotless on arrival, everything we needed was there fiona met us on arrival & explained everything to us & answered any questions that we had. Would definitely recommend staying in this cottage, we will definitely be back as we loved the quietness staying here »

« Nicely put together house. Handy for Oakham town centre, shops, pubs etc. 20 mins to Burghley House. Comfy beds. However, please do provide guests with a bit more info about what’s what in the house…A long mirror in the double room and a loo brush in the bathroom would be useful additions »

« This was a lovely little house. Very nicely decorated, very clean, great facilities and the host has done everything that they can to make you feel welcome. I didn’t know I wanted the hot chocolate but it was very welcome at the end of the day 😃 »
