Life is better at the lake - come and experience it from the ideal Canandaigua Lake location! This bright, one-story bungalow boasts the best sunsets from its east-side locale but is less than ten miles from the wineries and restaurants in the north.

When you're not out on the town or the lake, enjoy some quiet time on the spacious furnished deck. Cook up something tasty inside the bright, full kitchen, and then bring your plates to the open-air dining table for an alfresco meal. You can also use the gas grill to sizzle up some barbecue. Fire up the gas firepit for ambiance in the evening.

You'll love the home's cozy atmosphere with comfortable furnishings and turquoise accents. Both bedrooms and the living area are equipped with smart TVs so you can stream your favorite movie or show (with your own login credentials). A sofa bed is provided in the living area for the convenience of extra room.

Remember to watch the magnificent display of the sun dipping below the lake and then enjoy some friendly banter around the wood-burning firepit on the beach.

Upon arrival, two back entry doors were unlocked. Trash and dishwasher were full. Quickly found out that there are actually 3 sections to the house. 1. The upper part of the house which is locked off, including the upper deck. 2. The area that is not shown in any of the advertisement pictures that you will have access to and 3. The area which they advertise- this is accurate as shown just jankier (scuff walls, rust on wall heaters) in real life. The biggest issue is the unadvertised area. The carpet is old, outdated, and smells of dust. It's overwhelming and seeps into the rented area. It's gloomy and erie that I felt I needed to clear the area to ensure no one ease was in the house every time we came back. The only door the door code worked on the was main door, not the back door as instructed to use. The main entry is not inviting along with the musty and dust smell instantly. The exterior lighting is very dim and feels unsafe. Add that with the erie undisclosed area, and breathing in dust every breathe, I did not sleep well. Both beds appear to be old and hard , all three tvs are old and screen doesn't display the whole picture. No dead bolts for added security. One blind on main door just wasn't there. Missing cover plate under the dishwasher, bathroom baseboard had black marks in some sections. The hot tub and back deck were nice. But there is no upkeep around the house. I wish i could add pictures to accurately disclose what the Whole property looks like.

Loved location. Strange layout. Lots of steps. Listing said 2 bedrooms, 2 beds. Actually had 4 bedrooms, 5 beds. No air conditioning or ceiling fans in upper bedrooms. Should provide fans or portable air conditioning units. No lamps anywhere in the house. Hated having to use only ceiling lights. Hot tub did not function properly (temp) so initially we couldn't get it to go below 104, then could not get it above 94. Not great. The upper level bath was not clean, but rest of house was fine. Loved the deck and firepit.

When we first arrived all exterior doors were unlocked and the lights were on. There was also a random car parked in the driveway that we were not made aware of. We tried contacting anyone multiple times and all the was said was there would be a report made
 zero helpful suggestions or contact from owners. It was also very dirty with dead bugs everywhere. The outside was not kept up with either. As a group of 5 girls we did call the police to do a walk through as it was a very strange/sketchy situation. The view was great and we made the best of it after the police left and we felt a little better. It was a good trip/stay but some changes need to be made, especially the communication factor. before booking
 we were also unaware of what parts of the house we were able to gain access to because of the layout and lack of communication. NO access to the top deck at all, even though it is included in the pictures.

Location was absolutely fantastic. The hot tub and direct lake access were what we booked it for, and they delivered spectacularly. The property was clean and tidy upon arrival, and was easy to get to. The layout of the place was a little odd, with a bedroom separating one sleeping area from the kitchen area, but since there were only two of us, it didn't matter. Just something to think about if larger groups are staying. Cons: 1. Our code only worked for the front door, and we almost locked ourselves out accidentally. 2. There was a mouse running around the inside of the walls on our last night there, it was so loud we had to move to the sofa bed to sleep. Not a huge deal, but just something we encountered.

The house is clean and modern, lovely deck and hot tub (could use some maintenance tho, missing headrests, filter cover kept coming off, etc.) and fantastic view of the lake. Our check in process was awful - was on the phone for over 1 hour and could not get the rep to understand that you can't put a 7 digit code into a 4 digit lock.....luckily, the local rep for Vacasa was helpful and nice. Vacasa communication could be better - while they did give us something to make up for the trouble, they never let us know until the next day after I expressed my dissatisfaction with their lack of response. All in all a great experience - loved the house and hoping Vacasa will do better in the future with the few issues we had.

The house was very clean and in a beautiful spot. But it is very old and could use some upgrades. The kitchen was not well stocked and.guest must bring everything they need. Only a Keurig coffee pot and no K cups provided.

Beautiful views from the deck and hot tub!! Also has a walkway/staircase that leads you right to the lake! Awesome location, about 15 minutes from most amenities (stores, restaurants, shops), 20-30 minutes to wineries. Home inside is nicely maintained with many updated features and fits 2-3 couples comfortably or great for a family or hosting a bachelor/bachelorette party. We really enjoyed our trip here!!

Everything turned out well! My only suggestion would be to have coffee pods available for the Keurig. Or mention that we need to bring them.
