« We had a lovely weekend at The Red Lion. The staff were incredibly helpful both ahead of and during our stay, and the pub food and breakfasts were very tasty. Our room felt a little dated and in need of maintenance in places, especially in the bathroom, but it served its purpose for our stay and we would be happy to go again. »

« We had an amazing stay, gorgeous shepherds huts in a lovely location. So nice to have the pub nearby! We stayed during the heatwave and our hut was particularly hot, the staff were so nice to prepare another more shaded hut for us for our second night, we really appreciated the gesture! « We chose this hotel as it had a restaurant, however on arrival we were told that the restaurant was closed due to a function, but that the bar would be able to provide a meal. We passed the bar on the way to our room & were kindly given a menu to look at. After dropping our luggage we returned to the bar to eat, only to be told that the bar had stopped serving meals due to the function. « Excellent stay... The hotel is very neat and clean. The dinner was excellent.. Just if the breakfast had been with with some consideration for vegetarians it would have been amazing. Also, may be I did not ask but I need more than one cup of coffee when I am on business travels. In short, I recommend this place to everyone without hesitation. »

« Character room, good size with everything you would need. There were a few things that needed refreshing but it was all fine for a short stay. The breakfast was really good, hot and well presented with good coffee/tea. Good value for money and good location for many places to visit. »
