« There were no wardrobe or drawers in the bedroom only a rail under a small shelf which only had 4 coathangers. Perhaps 2 small bedside drawers would help a little and a small chest of drawers under the rail. We didn't have a tea towel which I think could possibly have been an oversight by the cleaner and maybe a small amount of milk so we could have a drink on arrival although we did have some biscuits. »
« Our stay was such a mixed bag itâs hard not to leave a middling review. Everything was a âpositive butâŠâ that could be improved to make The Nest a superb choice.
The apartment was beyond clean but⊠we found a huge shard of glass under the single bed (our 7-year-old found it, thankfully unhurt).
It does sleep 4 easily but⊠the second bedroom doesnât fit both singles, the sofa isnât a sofa bed, and the living room curtains donât shut fully.
Inventory had most things but⊠no iron, board or hair...
« We absolutely love this hotel. The rooms are clean and the beds really comfortable. It could do with an update and refurb in certain areas but this doesn't affect the quality of the stay. The staff are very friendly and happy to help in any way they can. It's location is perfect as it's close to South pier, a tram stop, shops and the pleasure beach. We will be making further bookings in the future. »

« We didn't stay at the hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, the surrounding area was deprived with half the buildings either boarded up or in disrepair. Secondly, having a 'seaview' and being a 'boutique' hotel is debatable, but definitely not from the outward appearance of the property. It was scruffy and needed maintenance to the paintwork and front door. Thirdly, to be made to stand outside ringing a bell for 30 minutes is unacceptable and shows poor customer service.
The decision was made...
« Great place to stay. Room was a decent size and the bed was very comfy. Tony and Linda are wonderful polite hosts and the breakfast was excellent.

« We did not stay at this hotel as when we went to check in the hotel advised that they were double booked and they had arranged an alternative hotel.
When we got to the alternative hotel the rooms were not ready and it was 7.45pm before we finally got into our room.
