« The place is overall very nice and we had a good stay. The 3rd floor experienced a temporary electricity and Wi-Fi outage, but this was not the owner’s fault and beyond their control. They promptly emailed us with clear guidance to resolve the issue, which we really appreciated. My only suggestion would be for the owner to update the main contact email on Expedia (or other platforms) to the one they actively use, since emails sent to the Expedia address did not get a reply, while the app email...

« This has to be one of your favorite vacations yet! The place is sooo nice and modern with everything you could need. In a really nice community with a heated pool and Jacuzzi. Includes bikes and paddle boards. The host was very accommodating and quick to get back to me anytime I messaged her. I would definitely recommend and hope to be back one day! »

« Super easy check in and check out. Nice quiet neighborhood within walking distance to downtown. Super clean! Air conditioner was a wonderful plus as our stay was the hottest days of the summer. »

« My wife and I traveled from Texas to stay at this cabin because of the beautiful photos, amenities, and location in the listing— and wow, it exceeded our expectations. « This property is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood near a walking trail. The indoor area is small but lovely and decorated with charm. The property includes an outdoor courtyard with chairs and a fire pit. The owners were delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to revisit this property in the future. »

« We had never been to this area and the house was the perfect home base to use to explore the area. There’s a lot of beaches and state parks to enjoy on the island and we also explored the area’s other features including Port Townsend and wineries/cideries. The house was beautifully maintained and comfortable and we loved being there and on the water. »

« The property was very nice. There is a wood stove which was very nice and the beds were great. The downstairs bath tub did not work. No flexibility with check in or check out times at all. I felt the background check was violating my privacy and not sure i trust them with a picture they can use to open my apps »

« We really enjoyed our stay at Phinneywood Basement Hideaway. We slept very well. The property was easy to access and the rental was well equipped with kitchen items for cooking at home, and had plenty of bathroom accessories (towels & toilet paper). It was well lit at night and best of all, it was very affordable for our six-day stay. We hope to be back! »

« Whidbey House was a lovely property. A real home from home. We really enjoyed our stay, especially the visits from the deer and rabbits. Rick was very responsive with a couple of queries that we had. Freeland was a great base for exploring Whidbey Island, explore off the beaten track a little and you will find some real gems, we can recommend Island Art Glass, for some beautiful glass work. If we were staying in the area again, we would love to return to Whidbey House. »
