Appartement très agréable à vivre en journée avec une vue splendide. Ann la propriétaire et Orla sa fille ont éte à notre écoute et ont répondu très rapidement lorsque nous avons eu un problème d'eau chaude.

Un appartement très confortable avec vue sur la baie et le port.
La grande pièce (cuisine /salle à manger / salon) de l'appartement situé au 3ème et dernier étage d'un petit immeuble au bord de la route, offre une vue remarquable sur la baie et le port de Roundstone. Une petite terrasse le complète. La chambre offre un lit confortable et des placards muraux. Une petite réserve pour la salle de bain/WC qui n'a pas d'aération. L e matériel de cuisine est de bonne qualité, le salon confortable (le vieux lecteur de DVD n'est pas très performant...). Relation très sympathique avec la propriétaire.

Beautiful
What a magical space, as soon as we entered the property all the stress and worries just dissapeared, the views are jaw dropping . A lovely space to just sit at one of the many windows or outside balcony with a nice glass of wine or cup of tea and just relax and watch the world go by. The village of roundstone is so charming with friendly locals and choices of places to eat and drink on your doorstep. A very special place indeed. We were very lucky and enjoyed a good spell of weather and the icing on the cake was a magical show of nothern lights, and no better place to watch the show was from the balcony.

Gorgeous!
The apartment is very spacious and has everything you need. You have a lovely view of Roundstone Harbour and there is even a small balcony to sit outside. The welcome was very warm and the hosts were super helpful! We were very lucky with the weather and this lovely apartment made our holiday perfect. There is a great cafe downstairs for breakfast and the pubs/restaurants are close by. We would definitely book here again.

Super stay….and what views!!!!
Everything about our stay in Roundstone was great. We loved the apartment and the ever changing views depending on what the weather was doing!! Having the Bogbean Café downstairs was an added bonus for a coffee and croissant for breakfast. Thanks Orla.

Sehr schönens Panthaus Apartment, in der Ortsmitte von Roundstone, mit genialer Aussicht auf die Bucht. Ruhiger Ort mit Pubs, Cafes und Geschäften. Wir haben die "Irische lebensart" mit der gelassenheit dieses Hafenörtchens sehr genossen. Die Tochter der Landlady hat das Cafe im Erdgeschoss und ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Beautiful location and surroundings
The apartment was very well presented and comfortable. Felt very spacious for the two of us. Ann was very helpful regarding our late arrival and quick to respond during the week We had fantastic weather and the scenery is beyond beautiful. Moonrise at Gurteen Bay will not be forgotten soon. During our stay (Aug 22) there were some ongoing building works next to the apartment. This was sometimes a bit intrusive but the noisy bursts didn’t last long and were bearable. If you are out for the day you won’t notice anyway! A minor point regarding the amenities was that the jacuzzi/bath spa was instead of a shower not an ‘extra’ (my misreading of the description). It takes a long time to fill so most mornings we resorted to a quick, if somewhat awkward, wash with the shower attachment which was fine!

A spacious and modern finish appartment with excellent picturesque rooftop views.
We had a good stay with weather mostly kind to us, although mists can close in and views diminish. Didn't find the setees comfortable so not so relaxing as it could have been and I didn't get on very well where there was restricted height. Otherwise the appartment was very good, being light, spacious, lovely views, very central position, good reserved off-road parking near entrance. Help from Orla with luggage was very welcome, but shame the lift is out of action. The Shamrock, next door proved to be a blessing of our stay in Roundstone,, excellent for food, music, friendly service and they always looked after us. Roundstone is stunning and in a beautiful position. Excellent for drives, walks and must be also for cycling too, as we saw so many enjoying it.

Incredible views
This is a beautiful spacious apartment with spectacular views over Roundstone Bay to the Connemara mountains. We had a great week here and were very well looked after by Orla and the ladies at the Bogbean Cafe.

Fantastic Stay
The apartment is absolutely beautiful. Furniture and decor are gorgeous and the views are amazing. Roundstone is a beautiful village with fabulous scenery and beaches within a few minutes drive. Ann, Orla and Theresa couldn't be more friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back again!!

We loved our stay.
We were really happy with our stay at this penthouse apartment right in the heart of Roundstone village. From the moment of our arrival when we me Orla, our Host, we felt totally at ease and at home. The apartment is as outlined in the VRBO site. The views are breathtaking. Before arriving, questions such as where to store bikes safely and parking for our car we’re immediately addressed. We spent 7 days here and used it as a base for day trips and bike rides all over Connemara. We cannot wait to return again to this apartment and location. It was so comfortable, attractively laid out and a pleasure to hang out in on the one rainy day! Thank you Orla and Ann for your hospitality, Mary & Austin .

Don't hesitate..
This was a wonderful experience - a fabulous apartment with amazing views - we just loved it. The apartment is very central and also within striking distance of great walks and beaches. At the moment, when safety is paramount, self-catering is a good option. We felt totally safe here.

A room with a view
We rented the apartment for the views and weren’t disappointed. The apartment was clean, comfortable and very quiet. The owners were close by if we needed anything. The accommodation was over a small cafe which served amazing food. Location perfect in centre of village. Very convenient for touring Connemara.

We had a wonderful week in Ann's apartment in Roundstone It is a fantastic modern apartment with breathtaking views of Roundstone The apartment is extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean Ann was a wonderful host and we were met by Teresa who showed us around the apartment on arrival and was so friendly and helpful It is centrally located but it is a peaceful haven to return to after spending the day exploring the fantastic local beaches . We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Roundstone.

A hidden Gem!
We could not have been more fortunate than to have discovered Ann's beautiful apartment. It was perfect in every way and Ann and her family are all a delight, so warm and incredibly helpful and fun to talk to. The views are to die for, it is spotlessly clean, warm and well equipped and the icing on the cake is at the bottom of the house is Bogbean cafe run by Orla who is one of Ann's daughters which provides the most wonderful food and the best coffee we had in all the time we were away. It was home away from home and we couldn't recommend it more highly.

Geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit fantastischem Ausblick. Sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Wundervolle Begrüßung, sogar mit Blumen, und gute Vorbereitung der Wohnung. Zum richtigen Kochen fehlt es etwas an Ausstattung. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hatten immer ein offenes Ohr. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

We were delighted with our stay. The apartment is comfortable and spacious and is right in the centre of the village with a panoramic view over the bay. Not only is it well furnished but welcome pack of water, milk and bread was left for us as well as a selection of teas and coffee and also toiletries. This was much appreciated. The cafe is over the Bogbean cafe run by Ann's daughter Orla .Would recommend the cafe for lunch .We enjoyed the chorizo and bean salad and the homemade cakes.Overall we had a very enjoyable stay in Roundstone. If you like to swim there are 2 great beaches closeby-Gurteen and Dog's Bay. We also loved Bunowen strand at Ballyconneely. We greatly enjoyed the Irish Night in the Community hall which takes place each Wednesday night in July and August. Would recommend the apartment and Rpundstone strongly

Penthouse perfection
This apartment is spotlessly clean, bright and airy with amazing views across the sea and islands. It is comfortably furnished with all equipment necessary for your stay. Roundstone has 2 small shops and plenty of bars and restaurants.

Delightful hostess ,superb apartment with views to die for. A neat friendly small coastal village. A pub downstairs and Ireland’s best scenery half an hour away. What more could we ask? We have travelled for 40 years....this was the best!

Top Notch But....
We enjoyed our stay at the Penthouse Apartment. The views and decor are all top notch. The welcome treats and friendliness of Orla, Theresa and Nolleen were much appreciated. The peacefulness of Roundstone was fabulous. The proximity of Clifden for supplies, shopping and traditional music was perfect. The drive on the Bog Road was spectacular with its rugged terrain, great views and plenty of newly born lambs with their mothers. But the apartment needs some TLC. The stove's dials are no longer readable, worn off from lots of use. And the oven door does not close tightly. It has an electric fireplace but only one heat setting works and the bulbs do not work so no fire glow. The kitchen chairs are stained and need refinishing or replacing. With a little more tender loving care this great accommodation could be made even better.

Hi Wayne Sorry I never got to meet you but my girls were on hand to attend to all your needs We do have a welcome pack to sets my customers up with all the essentials to start their first morning, glad you enjoyed it but alas it does not extend to tomato ketchup. Thank you for bringing the Oven problem to our attention. Teresa did get those bulbs fixed in the fire place, a little more tricky than we thought but the bulbs brought the glow back again The Table/ chairs were bought as stressed furnishing that's why they look like that I hope you got to see some of the CD I left over for you a few really nice ones on Connemara Regards to you both Ann

Wonderful location and the apartment was perfect for our needs. We could cook and dine in, or walk down the stairs and eat at nearby restaurants. The view was outstanding and would highly recommend.

Eine wunderschöne Fewo mit grandioser Aussicht bei jedem Wetter, hervorragend ausgestattet! Wir haben uns 12 Tage lang dort gut erholt und schöne Ausflüge gemacht. Schon der Empfang war toll: auf dem Tisch standen Blumen, Brot, Butter, Milch und Mineralwasser, Alles Nötige für Küche und Bad war vorhanden! Wir wären gerne länger geblieben!!!

Fantastisches Domizil im Herzen Roundstones lädt zum Verweilen ein!
Zunächst: Die Buchung und der erste Kontakt mit Ann via Fewo-direkt verlief reibungslos und war sehr sympathisch! Unsere Ankunftszeit konnten wir Dank Ann sehr flexibel halten und die Schlüsselübergabe am Apartment, welches in Herzen Roundstones liegt, war sehr herzlich. Pubs, Cafés und ein kleiner Shop für das Nötigste sind innerhalb von max. 3 Minuten Fussweg zu erreichen (O'Dowds sehr zu empfehlen sowie das Shamrock, wir waren vor St. Patricks Day da, daher hatte noch nicht alles geöffnet). Das Apartment hielt, was die Bilder versprachen- kurzum: es war fantastisch! Ausstattung super, Komfort super, Ausblick über die Bay in Richtung der Twelve Bens super (Apt. liegt im Dachgeschoss, aber das Treppensteigen lohnt sich!). Wir haben uns vom ersten Augenblick an wohl und willkommen gefühlt! Besonderes Highlight: nach langen Wanderungen lädt der Jacuzzi im Badezimmer zum Entspannen ein! Die Schlüsselrückgabe am Abreisetag war auch sehr unkompliziert! Für uns steht fest: Für unseren nächsten Besuch in Roundstone wird wieder Anns Apartment gebucht!

Just a Gem in the most amazing set up
Was hard to close the Penthouse Appartement on our last day as think we could just settle there. The place is just amazing with an excpetional 180 degree view of the sea, the old port and the opposite Islands. We were there in Mid November 2018 and despite the weather been on and off at this time of the year, we did not have one dull time. Mrs. Ann the owner was so carriying to make our stay perfect and we just can't wait to book and come back next year. Everything was 5 stars from the appartment to the service which was provided.

Very comfortable apartment with great views
We have just spent a very pleasant week in Roundstone. The apartment is spacious, well furnished,comfortable and is in a fabulous location. Ann and Orla are lovely people and very helpful. There are plenty of good quality eateries within walking distance of the apartment.

Good apartment with amazing views
The apartment on the third floor was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The views from the many windows was superb and we looked out at the hills and water in all lights and weathers. Roundstone is a nice small village with a number of good bars, cafes and restaurants as well as a small supermarket and a small grocers. Thoroughly recommend it.
