Dreamy Farmhouse Vibes Only 2 Miles to Round Top | The Poppy

Welcome to our little blue farmhouse in Round Top! This late 1800s farmhouse is located conveniently on the main road 2 miles from the Round Top square, 1/2 mile from Market Hill, and The Arbors. The Poppy has been completely restored keeping its original charm including beautiful windows, floors, and amazing shiplap walls while having all of the modern comforts you need. It is the perfect location for a girl's getaway, family gathering, or couples retreat.

This property is professionally managed by HOSTIE Vacation Rentals. They will be available during your entire stay!

We are located next to a main highway. Expect road noise. We do provide a sound machine and ear plugs!

Guests will have access to the house and yard area.

Enjoy sitting on the front porch with morning coffee or winding down by the wood fire pit after a day of shopping or wine tasting. A drip coffee maker, Keurig K-cup machine, ground coffee, filters, K-cups, sweeteners and creamers are provided.

The house has a beautiful fully stocked kitchen with all new appliances. The two comfortable bedrooms have new mattresses with comfy pillows, one with a king bed, other with two queen beds. It is equipped with Wifi, Smart TV, AC and washer/dryer.

Please inquire about small events such as a bridal/baby shower or birthday party.

You'll need a vehicle to get from the home into Round Top (2 miles) and the surrounding area. Consider renting HOSTiE's chauffeured luxury sprinter van during your stay. Ride sharing apps, like Uber/Lyft, aren't available in this rural area.

-Pre-arrival form & rental agreement: we do ask for a copy of your ID as part of our guest screening process after the reservation is confirmed. You will also be asked to sign a rental agreement. 

- When you stay with HOSTÎE Vacation Rentals, you are covered for any accidents that might happen up to $1500 with the added fee of $39 in your total. Coverage details are spelled out in your rental agreement. This is applied to all bookings.

- POTENTIAL FOR NOISE: We are located next to a main road. Expect road noise. We do provide a sound machine and ear plugs!

- For liability and security purposes, there are external cameras at the front, sides, and back of the house. There are NO inside cameras. Hosts may monitor external cameras at any time via a smartphone app, and cameras are not to be tampered with or covered.

We fell in love with this house! Its so beautifully decorated. Located on a beautiful lot and a great location. The beds and the bedding are so comfortable, I didn't miss my own bed once. We will defiantly be back.

We loved this house - very charming! From other reviews, I thought the host may leave a special treat for us upon our stay (it was my 50th) - this was not the case. With that said, we still loved it and would stay again. It is very cute and a few minute drive to the center of Round Top. My elderly parents stayed in the master - it was very comfortable for them - and my husband/kids stayed in the room with two queen beds. Great for a girls trip for sure, but it was great for our family - too. The house is so cute!

This home was perfect for our annual girls shopping trip
it was our first time to Roundtop! We couldn’t have felt more comfortable in this home relaxing in the morning drinking our coffee and visiting! They had everything we could possibly need
truly thought of every detail! Not to mention how clean it was!! We would definitely stay here again in the future!!!

Everything about The Poppy was amazing! The house was meticulously decorated and very clean. We adored it! I loved how the kitchen was stocked with sparkling water, coffee/creamer and snacks! Had I known, I wouldn’t have brought my own, it was a very pleasant surprise to have that available! Thank you! Luckily, during our stay the weather was not too hot because the A/C did not work in the bedroom with two queen beds. This definitely would’ve been unbearable for certain guests had it been summer!!! A floor fan was provided which tells me they were aware. I really hope they can fix that! My only tiny issue was the proximity to the highway, it was very loud and the traffic didn’t stop throughout the night and it kept me awake the on the first night. I was smart the next two nights and used the ear plugs that were provided, they helped tremendously! No matter what, I would definitely stay here again! The convenience to Round Top was perfect! Thank you for your hospitality! Loved it!
