The Space:

Red Door 56 is a beautifully presented white brick bungalow that balances classic Kiwi character with thoroughly modern comforts. From the moment you arrive, the striking red entry door sets the tone, warm, welcoming, and just a little bit special. Inside, the home flows easily across a spacious lounge, a well-appointed kitchen and dining area, two comfortable bedrooms, and a stylish bathroom - everything you need for a relaxing stay, with nothing superfluous.



The lounge is the heart of the home with a heat pump to keeps the temperature exactly where you want it year-round, and a flat-screen TV rounds out the entertainment options. Polished hardwood floors and large windows give the room an airy, relaxed feel, and sliding doors connect directly to the front deck.



The kitchen is fully equipped for everything from a quick breakfast to a proper home-cooked dinner. White cabinetry with dark marble-effect countertops, an electric cooktop with four burners, a fan oven, dishwasher, full-size fridge-freezer, and microwave cover all the bases. The adjacent dining table seats four comfortably. A separate laundry room with a washing machine means you have the practical necessities covered.



Bedroom 1 is the master, furnished with a queen bed, a heat pump, matching bedside tables, and large windows framing leafy garden views. Bedroom 2 offers a cozy double bed, ceiling fan, built-in wardrobe, and the same serene garden outlook. The bathroom is a standout - bold black-and-white striped feature walls, a large glass-enclosed shower, a floating vanity with a round black-framed mirror. Quality toiletries are provided.



Outside, you'll have a spacious front deck with raised garden beds and a wrought-iron bistro set (seats 4) is ideal for a morning coffee in the sun. Around the back, a separate entertainer's deck features a full-size Weber gas BBQ and a timber picnic table - perfect for a summer evening meal. Both decks overlook a fully fenced lawn. The garage is not available for guests but there is a small shed for storing bikes and a wide paved driveway for secure off-street parking for multiple vehicles.



Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive use of the entire property, including both bedrooms, the bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen, lounge, laundry, front deck and bistro seating, rear entertainer's deck with Weber BBQ, fenced backyard, and off-street parking around the back of the house.



The Neighborhood:

Red Door 56 sits in Springfield - one of Rotorua's most convenient and sought-after residential neighbourhoods. The area has a relaxed, suburban feel while keeping you close to everything the city is known for. Kuirau Park, Rotorua's free geothermal park where you can watch the earth bubble and steam, is just a short drive away. Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley and Te Puia are within easy reach, as are the shores of Lake Rotorua. The CBD, with its restaurants, cafés, and shops, is a quick drive or pleasant bike ride away. Polynesian Spa and the waterfront are nearby for those after a soak or a stroll, and the Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest - one of New Zealand's most popular mountain biking and walking destinations - is just minutes down the road.



Getting Around:

A car is the easiest way to get around Rotorua and make the most of the wider region, and Red Door 56 makes that simple with its generous off-street driveway parking at the back of the property. The CBD and most Rotorua attractions are a short drive away. The property is also accessible by local bus services.
