The air conditioning in our room was terrible , it was loud , it was turned down all the way to 60 it kept shutting off and the room never cooled down. Very uncomfortable night did not get a good nights rest at all.

I didn’t realize it until I walked into the lobby that I had stayed here before, but with a package ski club trip. Newer rustic rural Wisconsin atmosphere, nice breakfast variety, cookies and coffee/tea in the lobby 24/7. Quiet, clean, comfortable, and there is a Supper Club within a 15 minute drive!

We stayed here twice. The first time was great in room 314. The second time was in an upgraded corner room (Named antlers attic or something like that). It was on the opposite side of the building from the first room. Traffic noise was loud, air conditioner was loud and plumbing noises were loud. We did appreciate the spaciousness of the second room and the beuriful stone floor in the shower. The room has a wet bar and a high top table, a leather sofa (creaky sounding when someone moves on it) and a chair with ottoman In addition to the usual furniture. We would definitely stay here again but not in that room.

The staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean as well as the pool area. Breakfast food was not good. But typical of a hotel. Instead of sititng and booking a room in their lobby to save a couple dollars, the staff could ahbw just matched the price and saved time. It goes a long way to show appreciation for the business.

Loved the decor of the property but it seemed just a tad past its prime. Carpeting in the room was worn as was the furniture. The pull out queen bed in our suite was the absolute worst mattress I’ve ever slept on in my life. Actual springs in my back!!! The pool area was nice as was the hot tub! But again just a little worn looking. Service from front desk was great and anything we asked for was brought up promptly.

We had a really good stay overall. There were a lot of kids there for a sporting event but they didn't seem too noisy for the most part. Good selection for breakfast. Liked that the pool/hot tub was for adults only after 10. Sheets were a bit pilly which was my only complaint.

Was a great room. Was a bit loud due to many families with kids stay at the hotel but that’s not the hotels fault.

The hotel was nice with a unique design. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast decent and coffee was good. We had a few complaints. The bed was very hard. The sheets were scratching. Also, there was a lot of street noise and trains would use their horns late into the night.

We have stayed here for the same event over the course of five years. We noticed a gradual decline in the facility, UNTIL this year - new carpet, cleaner, and other improvements. Highly recommend it, now. The only disappointment is their breakfast - it's always the same and about a 2.5 out of 5: overdone "eggs," biscuits and gravy, cereals, yogurt, fruit, waffles. I suspect that since this is less important than the room quality, it will be addressed once the building facilities are finished. I still recommend it.
