Great Private and quiet place
The location of this property is excellent for touring the covered bridges in the area. The house is in the country but not too far away from a few towns. Host is wonderful and very responsive. I wouldn't hesitate a minute to stay here again.

Hot tub retreat
My daughter and I were looking for a place to stay during our getaway hiking in Turkey Run. One of the "musts" we looked for was a hot tub for relaxing in after our active day. This fit the bill perfectly. The unit was clean, well-stocked and had a nice, updated feel to it. The hot tub was heavenly, and we spent most of our time there! It was very private. Lisa was super friendly, responded to our messages extremely promptly and made us feel that if we needed anything she would be right there. I found the bed and pillows to be a bit uncomfortable, but those are personal preference issues and extremely minor things in my book. Thanks for a great stay!

A MUST stay!!
This property is so private, so secluded, so beautiful and completely enjoyable!! We couldn’t recommend it more, especially if you’re looking to escape the daily hustle and bustle and enjoy some quiet relaxing time with no interruptions. The owners were easy to work with and so accommodating. We plan to return soon.

Perfect Getaway
This was our 2nd stay at the Getaway as was just as memorable as the 1st. Tony and Lisa are amazing and have thought of everything! Privacy, comfy bed, massage chair and hot tub are of course the perks but the view and location to unwind and relax couldn't be better!

Mother Daughter Getaway
This property is set in the country. It is close to Turkey Run for hiking and Terra Haute for restaurants and shopping. There is a Dollar General close for anything you may need. Bridgeton and the beautiful covered bridge, waterfall and mill are about a half hour away. My daughter and I enjoyed the hot tub and just being able to getaway for a long weekend.

Nice and cozy
My boyfriend and I stayed here when we visited Turkey Run. Quick responses and great communication with owners. Tony greeted us and showed us everything when we arrived. Very clean, modern, and private place. It was perfect for our annual getaway :)

Great little place
Property was clean and private. The owners were great and left us alone but also were available if we needed anything. The hot tub was sparkling clean and the massage chair was great. Internet was a little spotty but the TV had Dish Network.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was great! Would stay again. Private and had everything you could need. The owners were really kind. Awesome hot tub. Location is only a 30 or so minute drive from Turkey Run and Raccoon Lake State Park.

A Little Slice of Heaven!
My goodness, Tony and Lisa are amazing!! If you need anything at all, they are right there to help you - otherwise you won’t see or hear from them. The Getaway is SO clean and just perfect in every way such as location, quietness, surroundings AND the hot tub is super amazing (as well as the massage chair)!!!!! We will definitely be back!! And you must eat at Gerrie’s if you go! Spectacular food!!! Beautiful, perfect and peaceful!!! Thank you Lisa and Tony!!

My 3rd year back to the Getaway has been nothing below a great time! Each time it is always clean and comfortable. I appreciated the snacks and Amenities provided. Lisa & Tony are still the best hosts I’ve had. Very nice and informative. I enjoyed the quiet country setting. The massage chair is the best after soaking in the hot tub. Attention to detail here is great! The hot tub still remains the best/cleanest I’ve used - which is a big must. You’ll have everything you need here for a cozy stay. And not to mention a great price.

Fantastic getaway
Cozy, clean property. The hot tub was awesome but we picked the worst days of December to try to use it. Overall very satisfied and likely to visit again. Hosts were communicative but not intrusive, and checked in on us to make sure everything was okay during some heavy windstorms.

A LOCAL GETAWAY FOR MY 60TH BIRTHDAY
If I were to build a short term vacation rental, it would look alot like this. Off the main highway, tucked in the woods with corn, cows and crickets to keep company. The hot tub out back so only guesses, the woods and wildlife watch each other. The rental is placed far enough away from city lights on a cloudless night the stars rule the heaven. The warm well lit interior worked great for a few hour visit with my brother and his wife, games, snacks and old TALL tales. Later after they left, dim the lights, a revisit to the hot tub, then a cozy tucked-in bed by Robin. Refreshed, Our drive home was 20 to 30 mph, avoiding every Hi-way "taking it slow, as fast as we can". Your place Hit The Spot! Of Course we would RECOMMEND to all who would appreciate Stay over like this, with happiness Dan and Robin.

Love this place
This is our second time renting the property and as always it was AMAZING! The hot tub is great. There was water in the fridge, kerig with coffee tea hot chocolate etc. There were even snacks which was perfect after hiking all day. Checkin process was easy. Host was responsive to any messages. Place was comfortable cozy and quiet. Tv, internet and massage chair worked great. Honestly I love this place and will continue to stay here anytime we are in the area.
