« We spent 4 great days at Dan's who was so welcoming and friendly. The bedroom is very big and the bed is so comfy. Dans provides some cereals, croissants, orange juice and hot drinks every morning. Another perk was that we could use the kitchen and cook our meals, or take an already prepared salad on the table outside to enjoy the sun in the garden. Cherry on the cake: Dan has got a kayak we used to paddle along the coast which was fun. We practised our English over a drink on our last night. »

Overall1930s shabby chic vibe is very nice and as expected. Good location in rural residential area10 mins walk to nearest shop and a pub. « The property was clean, pleasantly decorated and contained all the essentials we needed for a small family group. It was good to have a table and chairs on the decked area overlooking grassed space, where my grandson could play. Good location, near Fort Victoria and Colwell Bay and a short drive from the shops in Freshwater. »

« Grove Lodge was the perfect choice for our family of 8 adults celebrating my father's 100th birthday. The ground floor ensuite bedroom was perfect for him. The house was clean and very well equipped. As we had goodcweather we were able to enjoy the lovely private garden. We were met by Lee who was very friendly and gave us lots of useful advice about the area. »
