Terrible from check in experience to the cleanliness of the rooms. The rooms are humid and there is an overall feeling of dampness. You can actually smell the dampness The bedding was dirty with what could only be described as dried vomit. The shower doesn’t drain. There is just a rundown, lack of proper care and maintenance feel to this place.

This is an old hotel. It smells clean but my socks were quite dirty from the floors in our room. Not worth the money. Staff was okay.

Dirty rooms, had a change rooms in the middle of the night due to a water leak. At 8 am our neighbor, who apparently lived at the hotel, started blaring music which could be heard clear as day due to the super thin walls. Front desk knew nothing about the area and recommended a restaurant to us that was out of business. Literally boarded up. He said it was “the most popular restaurant in town”

We were given the key to a room already occupied. The room smelled. The microwave didn't work properly. The shower temperature went ice cold without warning. And the drain regurgitated brown water.

I did not stay at this property after I was approached by two different people from the streets, asking me for money while I was unloading my car. One of the individuals then walked into the the hotel in the rear of the building, after I gave a No for an answer. Did not feel safe here.

Terrible looking. Run down. Think people live there. Never walked into room. Got scared after check in and even though I literally went to my car and went back into lobby and said it was too unsafe and dirty the man would not refund any part of the money paid. I NEVER even walked in room and had key 10 mins and he would not help me out!! Absolutely terrible!

When I went to have a shower, the shampoo bottles were half full which means the maid didn’t replenish them. Also there was no Kleenex in the bathroom. The maid also didn’t clean our room when we left, we came back to our garbage still full and no clean sheets/towels. There was very little staff and they were hard to find so it was difficult to speak to someone to resolve these issues.

Was not happy with the front desk. I have been staying here for weeks during the week due to my job. I was booking my stays thru Expedia. This time the Expedia site was down. So when I called the front desk they gave me a rate which wasn't as good as Expedia's. However, when I arrived to check in the rate was incredibly higher yet. When I asked to speak with a manager I was told that there wasn't anyone on duty that could help me at that time. I would not come back and stay here however I needed too due to my job. Hopefully this stay is better then the last.

This property was very dirty. Rooms had mold in the bathroom. Sheets on the bed were dirty with whatlooked like blood stains and the chair was dirty and fabric coming off.

Very unsafe property. I was afraid to get out of my car. There were rodent traps all around the building, and some people going through a dumpster. No communication from front desk or management even though I left multiple messages. I left and went to a different hotel.

Creepy neighborhood.
This place gets two stars only because the room was large and clean. The rest was weird. Poorly marked office, rude clerk. The entry around the back was not easy to find and the hallways and ground were simply creepy. Also creepy was the neighborhood. I walked to a restaurant and was accosted by a psychotic woman. On my way back I watched a junkie get arrested in the drug store across the street. I also notice that it seemed to be in a high drug using area with junkies on bicycles all around.

Filthy hotel, bugs everywhere. The floor was sticky, the entire bathroom was not cleaned. It looked like no one has EVER cleaned this place. The only good part of this hotel was the Denny's attached to it. Bad part of town.

Not a great choice
The nicest thing I can say is that the bed was comfortable. The common areas of this hotel were filthy. When we awoke in the morning, there was no hot water for showers or washing up. There was no one answering calls and no one at the front desk to address my concerns.

DISGUSTING!!
I booked on Hotels.com and booked a Queen Double Suite Room that was advertised. This room was priced slightly higher than the Queen Double Room. I understood that I would have to pay $25 extra because of my pet. I called the hotel to confirm my reservation/room. Not once did he mention on phone that they DO NOT have SUITES. I get to the hotel and was inform by desk clerk don't know why that's on website when we DO NOT have SUITES. I said okay fine, I 'll take Queen double for the lower Price. He then informs me it's the same price. really because it wasn't on website, but nothing I can do. I'm there its already 11pm and raining and me and my dog were tired. So he says I have to give you Pet room. Now what does that mean? Oh I found out. It's a disgusting nasty old out-dated room. I was so disgusted. I did not want my dog to even walk around on that floor. Luckily he is a Chihuahua so I was able to confine him to the bed the entire time. He only got down to eat and right back on bed. I didn't even want to take shower, I wore (as I do in hotels) my waterproof slides. Also was sooo happy I (as I often do with these lowbudget hotels) brought my own Sheets and Comforter to put on the outside of the bed. I only stayed there because the hotel I usually go to was booked and they was only one close enough that accepted Pets. I even left the night before Checkout I was so over that hotel/room. I pray never have to use them again!

Booked the Ramada by Wyndham in Rome NY for my adult daughter and her friend for 9/23/23 for a visit to Turning Stone Casino. When my daughter checked in, she immediately noticed that the hotel appeared unsafe. There were several hotel guests screaming and arguing with each other at the entrance of the hotel. There appeared to be a homeless person living in the hotel parking lot next to the dumpster. The common areas were dirty, with stains and dead bugs in the hallways. Their guest room was dirty and foul-smelling. The bedding and pillows were stained yellow. The floor was visibly dirty, stained, and sticky. The bathtub had black stains all over it. My daughter spoke to the front desk about the conditions of her room and they told her there was nothing they could do. She then informed them that she could not stay there under those conditions and requested a refund. She was onsite for only about 15 minutes between check in and check out. They declined to issue a refund. I also contacted the owner directly and he declined to issue a refund.

I want a full refund, this place was terrible! 1. Dirty floors, 2, no bath mat, 3. ceiling had water damage, 4. lampshade broken, 5. dirty tub, 6. spider webs behind curtains towards the floor, 7. no complimentary coffee or drinks, 8. no continental breakfast, 9. tv out of focus-not HD, 10. bathroom so small couldn't undress or dress in it, 11. nightstand lights had 75 or 100 watt, blinded you!! Coming back home from New England stayed in a Hampton by Hilton in Victor NY for less money and every thing about it was a CLASS ACT!

During a 4 day stay, there was only 1 cleaning of room and only when I requested. I am willing to keep towels for a few days, but do expect bathroom to be cleaned and resupplied daily. floor was swept only when I requested on 3rd day. Comforter on bed had a large stain which I reported but comforter was not changed. Very disappointing facility and service for a Ramada Wyndham.

Guess I should’ve paid more attention to the reviews. The lobby was dirty and hotel in general was in disrepair. Bathtub looked like it was patched with JB Weld and the faucets were awful. We will pass on this hotel in the future.
