While I understand the house was 170 years old, it felt like it could fall apart with a false move. The main floor had several chairs, but no couch. The stairs to the top floor were very narrow and you had to be careful going up and down. « We very much enjoyed our stay. The location can't be beat, right in the middle of everything, and yet with dedicated parking and a nice private outdoor area. We love quirky old townhouses like this, and it was in excellent condition with all the modern amenities, plus the hosts have a very nice sense of style that we appreciated. We wouln't hesitate to stay here again, or recommend it to family and friends. »

« This cottage is in the perfect location! The cottage was clean, well stocked and wonderfully old and quirky. It is an easy walk into the historic town of Harper’s Ferry, but a bit steep going back, so manage your expectations and know your limitations. The host was VERY responsive and a pleasure to work with. The parking space is across the street and very tight against the hill (passenger needs to get out before parking).
