« Excellent communitcation with the host. The place was great and exactly what we needed for our trip to Salem. Great place for resting your head but may not be ideal for large gatherings. If you have issues with stairs this is not the place for you but the place was clean, located jn a safe area, quick walking distance for Salem festivities and doughnut shops. Would stay again! »

« Overall we enjoyed our stay. The narrow stairs took a bit of getting used to, but we managed. We spent most of our time outside (beach, sight-seeing, etc.) however it would have been nice to be able to wind down watching a little TV. Very few channels came in and we had some issues with the wifi network/password. « A very nice stay. Very well organized and avoid location. Beds allow a great sleep. If you might not like small bathrooms and a neighbour you can hear walking on the upper level you might consider another place but we did really like the place. »

« One of the best family vacations ever!! We saw the Blue Whale on 7 seas Whale watch on Monday. We toured the harbor with Jason, a Harbor educator, went in a Kighthouse and COC tour with Cape Ann tours. The house was immaculate inside , the linens were perfect and the furnishings were high end. « Lovely property, quick walk to the beach, easy drive into town with lots of great restaurants and shops. The property owner is super helpful, communicative, and the house was over the top stocked with everything you could need for a wonderful stay. We definitely want to return! »

« Nice long weekend in the Gloucester area. Our place was set up nicely for two couples. The AC unit in the larger bedroom was quite loud (and would cause the bedroom light to flicker every few seconds when they were both turned on), but it was nice to have to keep the room cool. The travel guides and maps were very helpful as we explored and navigated around Gloucester, Rockport, and greater Cape Ann! »

« We liked this cute little home very much! It was perfect for what we were needing and very walkable from the areas in salem we wanted to visit. We also felt safe when we went walking or running in the morning or at night. The only complaint I have is the noise from upstairs. It was like people started running around at 11 or 12 each night and this was difficulty for us to fall asleep/it would wake us up. Other than this, we heard no other noise, or had any other issues. »

« I loved staying in this simple little efficiency. This part of Massachusetts is truly a hidden gem. Philip was very welcoming and gracious. The property was beautiful (I saw a bunny, chipmunks, a deer) and the space was comfortable. I highly recommend this place. »
