Arrived to hotel to be told they didn’t have the double Queen room available anymore, which is what I booked. Instead gave us a king room with no tv. We went ahead and took it because, well, we had to stay somewhere. Lights flickered in lobby. Entire hotel smelled funny. At breakfast, there were ants crawling on the food counter…by the waffles and syrup. Pretty disgusting. Hotel definitely needs help. Very unhappy with my stay and was offered no discount for all the mess ups. Really would like compensated for this awful stay.

We were having some technical issues due to which your name was attached to different room type even though you booked a room with 2 Queen Beds.In addition, we had a lighting strike and power surge on that day due to which we our hallway lights were flickering and the cable TV service was down. It was unfortunate that all these things happened at the same time. Apologies again. When we got to the property, 2 of the 4 rooms had checked in. We asked to see a room because the restroom & lobby were not too appealing. Once on the floor it smelled old & once in the room, there were ants on 1 of the beds. Then we were told that the wifi was not working. We immediately asked for refund of the 2 rooms & asked the owner to cancel the other rooms because we had teenagers with game consoles that they were not able to use. He was understanding & gave us the refund so we could find other lodging arrangements.

The sheets were soft and clean. The staff was excellent. Most importantly, the shower water pressures was very good. I was happy with the breakfast, and I was pleasantly surprised that the room included a microwave which was not on the listing. I would stay here again.

My families arrived to the hotel to check in, remind you we arrived in 5 different vehicles. We got out of our cars to go check in we were welcome by people standing in the parking lot smoking marijuana. We went in asked to see a room before we checked in the clerk walked us to see a room walked in there was ants crawling on the sheets, we noticed someone had used the restroom and didn’t flush the toilet, remember this was supposed to be and clean room the clerk was showing. The carpet looked like animals had pooped on it. It was AWFUL!! I’m not the complaining type person BUT this was unacceptable. We had made our reservations online the pictures online looks NOTHING like in person. I wouldn’t advise anyone to stay at this hotel at all unless this is something that you’re ok with. Now if you read the responses to all the reviews they’re all pretty much the same, we are sorry and we’ll work to correct the issues. I believe it’s a recording. Hopefully day they will realize this is a business and after a day of traveling people wants a clean and peaceful place to rest.

I loved the lobby the guy at the front desk was. Nice but I got in my room n it was invested with spiders I told the guy he said talk to the manager because we didn't get to sleep or anything because how big the spider was it was crawling down my side and. Ur bit me I have vidoe of the spiders and the bite mark I have on my side from it I paid 99$ for that room and never got to sleep

First thing we saw was what looked like blood stains on the comforter. Could barely see the tiny tv while laying in the bed. Our second night got woke up to a loud beeping noise coming from somewhere outside our room. The front desk told us its probably our alarm clock. (Basically saying we're to stupid to know its our alarm clock going off.) Noise continued for hours till we called again. Finally someone got off there butt to find out it was the smoke alarm in the room next to us. Peace and quiet was short lived as it started going off again less than an hour later and continued the rest of the night. Then refused us a late checkout after we were kept awake all night!!! NEVER AGAIN

Clean and comfortable room. Very nice and accommodating staff. Facility is in need of updating, but sufficient and clean. Only negative is the terrible water and rusty toilet ring. But that is the problem in the whole city of Rockport as I understand it.

The only positive thing I have to say about this hotel is the friendly staff. They were great! But the hotel was disgusting. Food crumbs all over the floor, stains on the bedding. The toilet seat & lid fell off the first time we used it, tub wouldn’t drain unless you held it down. Not very many tv channels to choose from and would freeze up. Remote was caked in gunk. Elevator was gross. We were uncomfortable the whole time. Won’t stay again

Could've been better
When we first got there she said she had to change our original rooms because they weren't clean. Then our new room was dirty too. There were used towels all over the bathroom floor, counter, and tub. There was loose candy in one of the beds. The beds weren't made. I went to tell them about it nicely but they acted like i was lying at first. Finally got another new room but then the keys kept not working. Had to get them to reprogram it multiple times. The breakfast didn't have many selections. The eggs were rubbery for some reason. I shouldve gotten a discount for the inconveniences but the payments are still pending.

Overall the stay was good: clean room, functional bathroom, friendly staff, quiet location. The only bad thing I can speak of is the utterly uninspiring breakfast: cold scrambled eggs, cold sausage, cold biscuits, cold gravy, cold tater tots. Not sure they ever heated the warming pans & crock pots to keep the food warm. The only warm food was the waffles. And the exact same thing every. single. day. Blech!

Nope never again
The front desk literally needs customer service training. I mean the inability to communicate was not a good experience. When I arrived with my Dad and Nephew I stated I wanted to add a room. More than one time. Literally threw them for a loop. Then had to switch registers for someone else to answer a phone call and had to give my info all over again. Just annoying. And the first floor smells less than fresh to be nice about it.

Booked this hotel for the indoor pool, which turned out to be closed.😢 Room was clean and comfortable for the price.

Keep driving there are nicer cleaner places 20 minutes away. Very dirty will not stay here again when here for business.

Comfortable place to spend a few nights away from home. Excellent bed; morning meal offering was okay. Someone needs to learn to make sausage gravy...but enough other okay selections to satisfy anyone for a simple start to the day
